Evaluation Of Urban Ecological Civilization Construction In Urumqi Based On Public Perspective

Ecological civilization is a new stage in the development of human civilization,which emphasizes the harmonious development of man and nature.Urumqi is the important city along the “Belt and Road”.The study of ecological civilization construction will accelerate ecological civilization construction in Western China and promote the extension of the green Silk Road Economic Belt Development Plan.Through analyzing the public's evaluation of urban ecological civilization construction and the relationship between residents' self-perception,satisfaction degree and willingness to participate,we can indirectly understand local situation of ecological civilization construction,and coordinate the development of humanities and ecological environment to meet people's physiological and psychological needs.That will ensure public participation in the construction of ecological civilization,and provide a reference for the sustainable development of social economy,improving human well-being,and protecting environment.This paper takes Urumqi,a city along the “Belt and Road” as a research area,based on the public scientific theoretical framework,using field questionnaires,correlation analysis,regional statistical analysis and structural equation modeling to analyze the self-perception and satisfaction of public participation in urban ecological civilization construction.The path of influence on participation,combined with its spatial differentiation law,explores public satisfaction and related factors(age,gender,income,education level,vegetation coverage index NDVI,air quality index(AQI),socio-economic level)through GIS and RS technology.The spatial differentiation law and the structural equation model(SEM)are constructed to explore the feasible path of residents' participation in urban ecological civilization willingness,coordinate the development of humanities and ecological environment,and give better play to the urban ecosystem service function,with a view to promoting People-oriented ecological civilization construction provides a scientific decision-making reference.The main findings are as follows:(1)From the perspective of residents' awareness of ecological civilization construction,residents generally have a common understanding of ecological civilization construction.The vast majority(42.57%)of respondents generally understand the construction of ecological civilization,and very few people(5.19%)It is not clear to this that males,youth groups and respondents with relevant education have a clearer understanding of ecological civilization.Residents' awareness of the main body is 81.96%,and they are very concerned about urban ecological civilization construction(72.04%).In the process of urban ecological civilization construction,the phenomenon of littering domestic garbage is more serious,followed by noise pollution,exhaust emissions,and sewage discharge.(2)The average bias effect of respondents' satisfaction with urban ecological civilization construction was 2.32.The average satisfaction rate was: satisfaction with urban green status(2.51)> satisfaction with environmental information transparency(2.41)> satisfaction with urban air condition(2.35))> satisfaction with urban garbage treatment(1.99).Residents had the highest satisfaction scores for urban green status and low satisfaction with urban garbage treatment.The satisfaction of residents in various districts of Urumqi had a certain differentiation in spatial distribution.The main manifestations were: the satisfaction of residents' ecological civilization was greatly affected by urban green status and air quality,and the higher were the vegetation coverage index NDVI or AQI index,the residents' satisfaction were higher.However,residents' satisfaction with the construction of urban ecological civilization were restricted by the development of population and economic level.The new urban population has a large population,the level of economic development is fast,and the degree of satisfaction is the lowest.There were a large population and rapid economic development in Xinshi Qu,but the satisfaction level was the lowest.The simple increase in population and GDP does not mean the same growth of human well-being.(3)45.68% of respondents indicated that they are very willing to participate in environmental protection activities,and 50.32% of respondents chose to participate in environmental protection activities depending on the situation.Most of the respondents(60.18%)indicated that there were no environmental non-profitorganizations and platforms around them.41.6% of the respondents thought they had no time,but they were willing to use Jin to work,and 22.78% of the respondents were willing to pay 1% of the salary to support the city.In addition to the construction of ecological civilization,41.40% of the respondents believe that residents' awareness of participation is weak,and 39.23% of respondents do not know how to participate.Modeling by structural equation modeling shows that there is a significant positive impact on self-perception and willingness to participate.Satisfaction has a significant negative impact on the willingness to participate,and residents' willingness to participate increases as satisfaction decreases.It shows that improving residents' self-perception has a significant effect on promoting residents' participation in urban ecological civilization construction.When environmental pollution harms residents' own rights and interests,and their dissatisfaction arises,the enthusiasm of residents to participate in ecological civilization construction will proliferate,and the "owner" has a strong sense of consciousness.By analyzing the complex relationship between the awareness of ecological civilization and the influencing factors of residents in Urumqi,and combining the results of in-depth interviews and structural equation modeling to explain the impact path affecting residents' self-perception,satisfaction,willingness to participate,and the spatial differentiation of impact factors.We put forward reasonable measures for enhancing the identity of residents with the city and the environment to promote public participation in ecological civilization construction in Urumqi.
