| Buildings such as large conference centers have the characteristics of high clearance,large area,concentrated people,high personnel density,and large evacuation of personnel.Once a fire occurs,it will cause very serious loss of life and property.How to ensure the fire safety of such buildings It has become a research hotspot in recent years.The large-scale conference center with complex structure has various functions and can carry out meetings,exhibitions,performing arts and other activities.The single building is large in volume and it is difficult to physically separate the interior space of the building.This type of building has many fire protection design problems or difficulties,and it is difficult to meet the current fire protection requirements.Common problems include: excessive safety evacuation distance,excessive fire protection area,anti-smoking facilities,and automatic sprinkler facilities.In view of the problems in the performance-based fire protection design of large conference centers,this paper selects the H Island Conference Center as the research object,and the main work has the following parts:(1)Analysis of performance-based fire protection design concepts and design methods for large conference centers.The status quo of performance-based fire protection design specification system construction,fire scene simulation simulation and personnel safety evacuation research are reviewed.Using the performance-based fire protection design concept,the solution for the performance-based fire protection design of large conference centers,from fire separation,safe evacuation,smoke control system,emergency fire rescue system,fire protection electrical,etc;(2)Fire scene analysis and numerical simulation of the H Island Convention Center.Fire hazard source identification was carried out for the H Island large conference center building,and the fire characteristics and loads were analyzed to determine the location of 13 fire sources.Through the sofa burning experiment,analyze the fire growth rate of the podium,the pool block and the entrance hall aisle,calculate the space exhaust and determine the fire scene;(3)H Island Convention Center fire spread and smoke dynamic analysis.Based on the FDS fire dynamic simulation software,a three-dimensional full-scale model of the H Island Conference Center was established.The parameters of smoke temperature,visibility and CO concentration were used to calculate the available safe evacuation time for people at different locations during the fire.(4)H Island Convention Center personnel evacuation study.Combined with the fire simulation results,the Path Finder software was used to calculate the existing evacuation channel width and distance in 9 evacuation scenarios,and the difference between TRSET and TASET was compared to determine the evacuation safety.The simulation results can provide solutions for the fire protection design of large space public buildings such as large conference centers. |
