Spiral bevel gears with smooth transmission,high contact ratio,strong bearing capacity,low noise,small vibration,etc,are widely used in automotive,aviation,marine,engineering machinery and other fields.As the main components of mechanical products,the processing accuracy and manufacturing level of spiral bevel gear directly affect the performance and the quality of mechanical products.However,because of the complexity of the tooth surface structure and the machine tool adjustment,the processing accuracy of spiral bevel gear is not high.So it is difficult to get a good contact region via adjusting machine tool.Therefore,this thesis analyzes the spiral bevel gear tooth surface error from the machine tool parameters,in order to reduce the tooth surface errors to obtain spiral bevel gear with high transmission performance by adjusting the machining tool parameters.Firstly,the coordinate systems applied for cutting spiral bevel gear are established based on the relative movement of spiral bevel gear and the machine tool in the cutting process.And combining the gear meshing theory,the theoretical tooth surface equations of Formate-cut gear,Generated gear,Modified Roll pinion and Tilt pinion are derived by the transformation of coordinates.Secondly,on the basis of the theoretical tooth surface equations,the error tooth surface equations of spiral bevel gear are derived.And the influence rules of machining tool parameters error on the tooth surface error of Modified Roll pinion and Tilt pinion are derived.Wth the concept of error sensitivity coefficients and setting the processing parameters as the compensation objects which affect the tooth surface error more obviously,the mathematical model of tooth surface error correction is established,and the tooth surface error of spiral bevel gear is corrected.Finally,using the tooth surface grid point coordinate values,three-dimensional solid model of spiral bevel gear is established in UG software,and the three-dimensional simulation of meshing contact region is achieved.Then,the effectiveness and the feasibility of error correction theory based on the error sensitivity coefficients are verified by comparing the contact region before and after correction.
