Oil tank is important for oil depot and petroleum warf.It is responsible for the storage of crude oil,intermediate products,and refined oil.The single-flange liquid level transmitter in the early stage used to detect liquid level of tanks has great problems in actual production.The measurement value is inaccurate.Therefore,according to the actual production needs,in purpose of realizing the goal of level automatic monitoring in the tank area,it is particularly important to select a reasonable level detection instrument,cooperate with the design of a reasonable level monitoring system,so as to reduce labor intensity and improve production efficiency.The guide wave radar liquid level is more accurate and real-time than other traditional fluid measurement instruments,and is widely used in petroleum,chemistry,metallurgy,boilers and other industries currently.Based on the status and problems of the liquid level meter in the tank area,this paper updates and optimizes the original monitoring system,that is,the radar liquid level meter is used instead of the original single flange liquid level meter to achieve the purpose of accurate monitoring of the liquid level in the ash tank area.The main tasks are:1.The DCS and radar liquid level meters are selected for hardware design to complete the overall system structure;2.a mathematical model of the single flange level meter and radar level meter control system was established.Simulink simulation analysis was conducted and the results of the two systems were compared.The overall modeling and Simulink simulation of DCS radar level monitoring system were completed;3.Analyze the mathematical model and mathematical principles based on the DCS control system algorithm,compare the control strategies,design the more optimized DCS control strategies,and improve the original control;4.The improved DCS system is used for the hybrid programming package,configuration installation,and RS485 communication connection of the control system strategy algorithm to achieve the overall monitoring function.
