Fenton oxidation is a mature, stable advanced oxidation technology which uses Fe2+and H2O2 as reagents. In the treatment of some dyeing wastewater with various high concentrations of complicated contaminants, using Fenton reagent is a better way with high efficiency, and good controlling conditions. In this work, two kinds of wastewaters, one with“Polyvinyl Alcohol?PVA?”,the other with“reactive blue KN-R”were treated by Fenton Process. At the same time,UV irradiation or microwave assisted Fenton was also investigated.According to the orthogonal experiment, the optimum conditions about wastewater containing PVA were as follows:the reaction temperature was 30?,pH=4;H2O2/Fe2+?mol?=10,the PVA degradation rate reached more than 88%after 1hour of reaction;and COD removal rate was more than 87%.In the process of UV/Fenton,the optimum conditions were similar to single Fenton oxidation, but the COD removal rate was up to about 91%.In the second part, kind of wastewater within reactive blue KN-R was treated by Fenton process.it was found that t the optimum conditions for the degradation of KN-R by orthogonal experiment were:pH=3,the temperature was 30?,H2O2/Fe2+?mol?=10,and the degradation rate of KN-R was more than 83%after 1 hour of reaction, and COD removal rate also more than 80%.Furthermore,microwave-assisted Fenton was used to treat this wastewater, the degradation rate of reactive blue KN-R was greater than 84%,and COD removal rate also up to 85%. |
