Pipelines is a major means of transportation of crude oil,and people has studied and developed corresponding transmission technology,to make the pipeline operation more safe 、steady and economic.In this paper,combining with engineering experiences,the engineering design of Dongying Port to Binzhou crude oil pipeline project was carried out with the following main aspects:(1)The physical experimental measurement for various oil sources was carried out.(2)The piping system process design was finished.According to the design parameters and physical property of crude oil pipeline,the hydraulic and thermodynamic calculations were conducted.Through comparison of various scenarios,three reasonable schemes for each scenario were selected.By calculation of various working conditions,the recommended scheme was determined by further optimization in the aspects of comparison of economy,safety,energy saving etc.Meanwhile,through calculation,the safe shutdown time,the reasonable batch transportation and tank capacity were determined,the mix oil processing scheme was recommended,and the pipeline adaptability analysis were conducted.(3)Pipe type and material of three schemes were selected,the wall thickness and steel consumption were calculated,and the pipe weld inspection requirements were supplied.The strength,stability and anti-seismic design were reviewed to ensure the safety of the pipeline.(4)The process design of the station was completed.The comparison and selection of oil tanks and transfer pump etc.were carried out.(5)The optimization of anti-corrosive coating was carried out for crude oil pipeline and storage tank etc.The selection and calculation of pipeline insulation technology was conducted and the interference protection measures for DC and AC stray current were provided.
