As one of the most rapidly developing emerging technologies in recent years,virtual reality technology provides the possibility of pre-experiment for many situations with high risk coefficient or difficulty to operate,with good simulatability and visibility.The application of virtual reality is getting more and more wide in the fields of education,medical industry,etc.It has been realized,at present,that virtual reality technology will bring unlimited opportunities for industrial digitalization in many industrial manufacturing,such as aerospace industry.In industrial 4.0,the purpose of industrial revolution is to achieve industrial intelligence with information technology.As one of information technologies in rapid development,virtual reality technology initiates another thinking of existing production processes with its creative human-machine-environment interaction.In the production process of iron and steel enterprises,efficient management of equipment real-time production status and energy flow data has become the focus of improving industrial production efficiency,due to its huge plant area,great number of equipment and large use of energy.In this paper,according to the actual production management of a steel plant,aiming at the shortcomings of traditional equipment energy flow management methods,such as poor real-time data and poor visualization of energy status,we developed a steel plant energy flow management system,based on virtual reality.The virtual platform is based on virtual roaming,through three-dimensional modeling,dynamic simulation and virtual control of multi-energy flow equipment in industrial energy system.It not only has the function of control simulation for different energy flow conditions of production and operation equipment,but also has the characteristics of immersion and imagination of virtual reality.The system can be divided into two subsystems: WEB energy data management and 3D virtual reality simulation.There into,WEB energy data management subsystem is based on B/S architecture and developed by ASP.NET technology.It can provide monitoring management for the energy-related equipment information and real-time energy production and consumption information of the whole steel plant.Besides,it can be processed on WEB system and would alarm when abnormal production data occurs.Meanwhile,the information of processing mode,processing time and processors can be saved.Using 3ds Max modeling software and Unity3 D virtual game engine,a virtual factory three-dimensional model is built according to the actual terrain and equipment of iron and steel plant,which is consistent with the layout of energy system of physical plant.There are more than 1000 single equipment models,including 7 types of energy network modeling,227 control valves in two categories,188 interfaces in four categories and 320 pipelines in one category.The simulation system can achieve the first-person roaming function.Users can move freely in the virtual factory,using the computer peripherals,to achieve the efficient visual supervision of energy flow in the steel plant production process.On the other hand,C# programming is used to complete the docking,display and management of energy production data at WEB end.Energy operation data can be mapped to virtual factories,and energy flow data can be effectively visualized and supervised by charts.Through the energy flow management system of steel plant developed in this paper,the safe and efficient visual supervision of energy flow in steel production process has been achieved.Based on the control of the lower energy equipment level,the upper energy regional dispatching and manufacturing process energy optimization decision-making model and algorithm can be improved,thus forming the equipment-process-whole process Industrial Park energy operation optimization simulation and verification platform,which can play an important role in the production operation decision-making model and algorithm verification,and for the field of industrial intelligence.It brings promising prospects for development.
