The electric plate vulcanization machine takes the largest share in rubber industrry due to low cost and easily operation.The curing parameters like temperature,pressure,time have big affect on the quality of rubber products.Temperature is one of the key vulcanization factors in rubber industry,especially on the property of rising speed,overshoot,and stability.And some customers have special requirement for the temperature rise speed,overshoot performance and response time of during vulcanization.Therefore,it is very important to study the temperature control performance of vulcanizing machine.Temperature control performance has big influence on rubber product quality.Based on the input from customer,a specified method is designed to measure the temperature trend during curing in this study,and find that the temperature control system of vulcanization machine is poor,and can’t meet the product spec,which mainly caused by uncertainty,serious nonlinear property of vulcanization machine.Thus,it’s meaningful to improve the temperature control system.In order to do some improvements on vulcanization machine,the first step is to study the principle of temperature control system.And the second step is to learn basic knowledge of conventional PID and fuzzy-PID control system,including principle and difference,and then get the proposal to improve the temperature control system with Fuzzy-PID due to benefit in overshoot and response speed than regular PID.Thirdly,confirm the proposal with Matlab sumilation.And then update the cunring machine system with previous proposal.Finally,with special test as customer,confirmed the updated system meet customer’s spec on temperature comtrol.The temperature control system is improved with low cost.
