Tobacco wastewater is a kind of high concentration organic industrial wastewater which is produced in the production process of tobacco industry. It has the characteristics of large amount of wastewater discharge, complex composition, high concentration of organic matter and rich nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus, etc. If it is not treated efficiently,it will cause serious harm to the water body.HyVAB reactor has small footprint and high treatment efficiency,it can not only effectively reduce the concentration of organic and inorganic substances in wastewater, but also produce biogas to realize the resource utilization of tobacco wastewater. Therefore, this paper uses tobacco wastewater as a fermentation raw material for anaerobic fermentation experiments to explore its potential for biogas production, then the pilot test study on the treatment of tobacco wastewater treatment with HyVAB reactor was carried out to explore the removal effect of pollutants in tobacco wastewater under different technological parameters,to optimize the technological parameters, and analyzed the energy balance in the pilot process of HyVAB reactor. The main conclusions are as follows:?1?The experiment of biogas production potential of tobacco wastewater anaerobic fermentation showed that the biogas yield of tobacco wastewater anaerobic fermentation could reach 449 L/kg COD and the methane yield could reach 233.5 L/kg COD.?2?The pilot test study on treatment of tobacco wastewater with HyVAB reactor showed that HyVAB reactor has a certain impact load resistance and its removal effect of organic matter in tobacco wastewater was good and stable. When the influent concentration of COD,NH4+-N and TP were 700-4500mg/L,66.2-84.75mg/L,8.03-18.5mg/L respectively and pH is 6.6-8.1,the four operating parameters of HRT,organic load, temperature and dissolved oxygen were optimized.Considering the removal effect of pollutants and the economic feasibility, the optimal HRT of the pilot test was 13.5h,the optimal organic load was 8.71 kg COD/?m3·d?,the optimum temperature was 25-30?and the optimal dissolved oxygen concentration was 4-5 mg/L.Under these conditions, the average removal rate of COD could reach 71.2%and the highest was 80%.?3?The energy use structure and energy efficiency of HyVAB reactor were investigated by using energy balance model and exergy balance analysis model. The results of enthalpy balance analysis showed that the energy content of tobacco wastewater effluent was 15.35%,the energy and heat dissipation in biological reaction were 70.93%and the energy content in excess sludge cells was 13.72%.The results of exergy balance analysis showed that the exergy accumulated in the substrate was mainly used for the maintenance and spatter of microbial cells?17.40%?,the proliferation of microbial cells?16.04%?and excess sludge contained exergy?14.06%?.The energy utilization ratio of HyVAB reactor was 33.9%and the target exergy efficiency was 73%.
