Wheel hubs are an important part of cars.With the development of society and the progress of the times,people are paying more and more attention to the shape of the automobile wheels,reliability and processing methods.Aluminum alloy hub stands out in the production and processing of wheel hub by it's lightweight,superior shock absorption performance,easy processing,good balance performance and many other advantages.Among the processing methods of aluminium alloy hub,spinning has great advantages in the low pressure casting,gravity casting,forging,squeeze casting and many other methods.In the actual wheel hub processing,more is to use experience to process directly first,and select the most appropriate results,which wastes a lot of materials and time and costs too high.In this paper,three-dimensional finite element software ABAQUS is used to analyze the spinning process of wheel hub blanks,it has a certain guiding significance for actual production and processing.In this paper,compared the wheels of small cars which are widely used in our daily life,using the Aluminum Alloy 6061 as the material of automobile hub,the size of the small automobile wheels which are built by UG softwareis 17*7.5J.Due to the limitations of ABAQUS software in setting complex trajectories in the process of analysis,this paper innovatively combines turning in UG with ABAQUS,introduces the method of setting the trajectory in detail,and completed the setting of the complicated track of the rotary wheel.In the process of analysis,selecting the process parameters closer to reality,and the one-time forming method of three-wheel staggered spinning is adopted,because it is closer to reality and safes time.The reliability of spinning simulation analysis with ABAQUS finite element analysis software is verified,the feasibility of the ABAQUS in spinning analysis is proved.In ABAQUS,use control the variable method,through numerical simulation and analysis the several important technological parameters,such as stagger value between rotating wheels,billet speed and feed rate and so on;the changes of equivalent stress and strain in the results are explained;and the metal flow in the results is also briefly summarized.Finally,based on the wall thickness deviation and inner diameter deviation of the formed workpiece,the influence of process parameters on the workpiece forming quality is obtained by calculating the sample variance of the data.The influence of process parameters on wall thickness deviation is as follows: feed rate of rotary wheel > speed of billet > thinning rate > friction coefficient > offset value.The influence degree of each technological parameter on the inner diameter deviation is as follows: the feed rate of therotary wheel > the thinning rate > the friction coefficient > the billet speed > the stagger value.
