As an important production equipment in the petrochemical industry,oil storage tanks store inflammable and explosive oil products.Once an oil storage tank electrostatic fire and explosion occurs,it will have serious consequences.The hidden dangers of electrostatic fire and explosion accidents are not easy to detect,and there are often no obvious precursors before the accident.In order to avoid the occurrence of static accidents in the oil storage tanks and reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge spark,it is necessary to have a deep understanding of the law of generation and dissipation of oil static electricity,study the distribution law of the static potential of oil in tanks,evaluate the risk of electrostatic accidents in oil tanks,and propose static elimination and safety precautions.In this paper,theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experimental research are used to deeply study the electrostatic distribution and electrostatic accumulation and dissipation mechanisms of oil products in oil storage tanks.The research results obtained in this paper as follows,(1)The spatial distribution law of stationary oil's electrostatic potential was obtained through numerical simulation.The specific effects of oil properties parameters and oil tank structural parameters on the electrostatic distribution of oil products in the tank were analyzed.(2)Based on the similarity theory,the similarity rule of the experimental simulation of the electrostatic law of the oil storage tank during the filling process was deduced.The laboratory model of the filling system was established and the physical simulation experiment of the electricity law of the oil tank was conducted.The static electricity generation laws of the oil storage tank filling process and the static electricity dissipation rule after the tank wall grounding were obtained through experimental simulation.(3)The forming conditions of the static fire and explosion accidents of oil tanks were summarized and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established.The quantitative safety evaluation of oil tank was conducted and the electrostatic elimination and protection measures of oil tanks were proposed.The research results of the dissertation will help us to deepen our understanding of the electrostatic potential distribution and electrostatic dissipation mechanism of oil storage tanks and guide the static accident protection of the oil storage tank during the filling process.
