Carbon fiber as a kind of carbon content in more than 90%(mass fraction)of the new type of inorganic polymer material,low quality,low density,high temperature and the excellent properties of corrosion resistance.Carbon fiber is a kind of fiber with high tensile strength,high tensile modulus and low density.As a brittle material,unmodified carbon fiber tow is difficult to exert its excellent properties.In the practical application of carbon fiber,it is generally required to combine with resin to make composite materials.In order to improve the product quality of carbon fiber and improve the processing performance of subsequent products,the carbon fiber must be coated before further processing.Glue will be formed on the surface of carbon fiber on a package sealed layer of protective film,glue on the activity of functional groups can effectively improve cluster of carbon fiber,and can improve between tow carbon fiber and the matrix resin of invasive,glue on the smaller particle size,is able to fill grooves on the surface of the carbon fiber,enhance the strength of carbon fiber tow.Sizing agent can be divided into water-soluble sizing agent,solvent sizing agent and emulsion sizing agent.The storage condition of carbon fiber in water-soluble adhesive is strict,which is unfavorable to the long-term storage of carbon fiber in industrial production.Solvent volatilization in solvent adhesive will cause the rise of VOCs content and increase the processing cost.The cost of emulsifier is also a control factor.This paper aims to prepare a kind of aqueous epoxy emulsion for carbon fiber adhesive.Catalyst is presented in this paper two lauric acid under the action of tin will PEG,TDI,DMBA with E-51 epoxy resin of waterborne epoxy resin,studied the system of reaction time,reaction temperature,ratio of epoxy resin and catalyst content and polyethylene glycol molecular weight on synthesis of waterborne epoxy resin emulsion stability,and monitor changes in the epoxy conversion reaction process,through particle size analysis,stability testing of optimum reaction conditions;Then,the effect of reaction time,reaction temperature,ratio of epoxy resin and catalyst content and polyethylene glycol molecular on the emulsifying performance of the synthetic emulsifier was studied.The self-made gluing agent with the same content,the gluing agent adding purified graphene and Ak-8 gluing agent were applied to domestic T800 carbon fiber,and the difference before and after the gluing of carbon fiber was observed by SEM.The results showed that the self-made water-based epoxy resin adhesive could form a compact film on the surface of carbon fiber,and the conductive type of carbon fiber with purified graphene was increased by 81%after the adhesive was applied,which effectively played the role of the adhesive and improved the conductive property of the material.
