In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s industrial level,people have more and more expectations to improve the intelligent and automatic level of industrial production equipment.With the re-emergence of artificial intelligence related research such as deep learning,this hope has become possible.Tire industry is a typical industrial manufacturing industry with huge market.Tire production equipment is huge,diverse and complex.Tire forming machine is one of the most complex photoelectric mechanical equipment.When the tire forming machine fails,it is necessary to diagnose the fault and find out the fault location and reason quickly and accurately.It is of great significance for protecting workers’ safety in production and improving production efficiency.This paper combines artificial neural network with traditional expert system and applies it to the fault diagnosis of tire building machine.In this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of neural network and expert system are analyzed in detail.The advantages of neural network in knowledge acquisition and self-learning make up for the,shortcomings of traditional expert system in dealing with non-linear and uncertain problems.At the same time,the neural network is improved by using the strict logical reasoning and easy-to-understand knowledge expression of the expert system.In the selection of neural network structure,this paper uses BP neural network.The improved algorithm is verified.Finally,through the fusion of neural network and expert system,combined with the actual production and operation of the tire building machine,a new knowledge base of fault diagnosis of the forming machine,inference engine,knowledge acquisition method and human-computer interaction interface were established.In this paper,a fault diagnosis system is established for all steel radial truck tire three drum molding machine.The upper computer software was developed on the LabVIEW platform of national instruments.The communication between host computer software and slave computer PLC is realized by industrial Ethernet technology.The upper computer software uses ODBC technology to connect the background database.In the actual test,the fault diagnosis system built in this paper can monitor and diagnose the real-time faults of the three drum one-time molding machine.The system runs stably and reliably,and the system can quickly and accurately find out the fault location and causes,so that maintenance personnel can quickly find out the fault and troubleshoot,and improve the running efficiency of tire forming machine.The technology competitiveness and economic benefits of enterprises are increased.
