Research On The Influence Of Environmental Regulation On Green Technology Innovation

The industrialization of our country for a long time not only drives the economy but also brings great pressure to the resources and environment.The innovation of green technology has become the key to solve the contradiction between economic growth and environmental protection because of the combination of innovation and the concept of green development.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between environmental regulation and green technology innovation.Based on the development status of environmental regulation and green technology innovation in China,this paper takes Zhenhua Port Machinery Company,a large equipment manufacturing state-owned enterprise named by the central environmental protection supervision group for many times,as the case enterprise,and focuses on the impact of environmental regulation on green technology innovation of enterprises by combining theoretical analysis with case analysis.Theoretically,based on the regulation theory and porter’s hypothesis,this paper analyzes the internal mechanism of environmental regulation influencing green technology innovation.In terms of case study,this paper studies the influence of the heterogeneity of environmental regulation and green technology innovation on the relationship between them.This paper concludes that :(1)command-and-control environmental regulation and market-driven environmental regulation both play positive roles in promoting enterprises’ green technology innovation;(2)compared with command-and-control environmental regulation,market-oriented environmental regulation has a more obvious positive driving effect on enterprises’ green technology innovation;(3)with the increasingly strict environmental regulations,the focus of green technology innovation in enterprises has a tendency to shift from end control technology innovation to clean technology innovation.Based on the perspective of environmental regulation,this paper studies the impact of environmental regulation on enterprise green technology innovation.On the one hand,it can improve the research related to green technology innovation,which has certain reference significance for China to achieve green development.On the other hand,it also has important guiding significance for enterprises to carry out green technology innovation to some extent.
