In-situ leaching of uranium has the advantages of short pruduction cycle,low cost,and high recovery rate,and is an important method for uranium mining.With the structural adjustment of China’s natural uranium system,in-situ leaching has become the main technology of natural uranium production in China.For in-situ leachable uranium deposits,drilling construction is required in exploration,test,and production.It can be said that drilling construction is the process with the longest duration,the largest number of people involved,the most complex personnel structure and the greatest risk of safety accidents in the construction process of in-situ leaching uranium mine.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate and control the safety risks of drilling construction.Taking the drilling construction of the in-situ leaching uranium mine in Inner Mongolia as an example,this paper studies the safety risk evaluation and control of the drilling construction of the in-situ leaching uranium mine,and the main achievments are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the process drilling characteristics and the use of empirical analysis methods,the hazard sources during the drilling process of an in-situ leaching uranium mine in Inner Mongolia were fully identified,and a list of hazard sources was formed.(2)Using the Likelihood Exposure Criticality(LEC)and Preliminary Hazard Analysis(PHA),the risk assessment of the identified hazard sources was carried out,and the high,significant and general risks in the construction were obtained.(3)Based on the results of risk evaluation,the safety risk control measures for drilling construction of in-situ leaching uranium mine are put forward from the four aspects of human factors,mechanical equipment factors,management factors and environmental factors.At the same time,in order to fully integrate risk control measures into day-to-day management,safety checklists have been prepared for inspections of opening,pre-opening and routine inspections.This provides a reference template and reference for the safety management of process drilling construction of in-situ leaching uranium mines,and has an important application value for the implementation of process drilling safety management by the owners,supervisors,construction parties and other supervisors during the construction of in-situ leaching uranium mine drilling.
