Our country’s trunk highways have the characteristics of relatively fast driving speed and complicated road traffic conditions,resulting in an unusually severe situation of road traffic safety on our trunk highways.Trunk ordinary highways are a high incidence medium of road traffic accidents,and it is very important to carry out traffic safety risk assessment on them.In order to prevent and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents on arterial roads,the problem of identifying and evaluating arterial road safety risks needs to be solved urgently.At present,my country pays more and more attention to traffic accidents and safety,but there is less research on the identification methods of key safety hazards of trunk ordinary highways.At present,there is a lack of methods that have good applicability for safety risk assessment of trunk ordinary highways.Therefore,this paper studies the related issues of road traffic safety risk assessment of trunk highways,and its goal is to build a safety risk assessment index system for trunk highways.Based on the investigation and analysis of the safety hazards of the trunk roads,the safety hazards of the trunk roads are classified,and the characteristics of the traffic safety hazards of the trunk roads are analyzed and clarified.Establish a safety risk assessment model for arterial highways based on the cloud model.From the three perspectives of road attributes and infrastructure conditions,highway environmental conditions,and road traffic conditions,establish an arterial highway traffic safety risk assessment index system.And use the analytic hierarchy process to clarify the weight of each indicator.Finally,the cloud model evaluation method is used to convert the qualitative description of the safety risk assessment index into a quantitative measurement.Three arterial roads G204,S102,and G228 are selected,and their safety risks are evaluated and compared.Conclusions are obtained and relevant suggestions are made.The safety risk assessment of arterial highways based on the cloud model provides a basis for road safety risk assessment and remediation measures.While objectively analyzing and evaluating the traffic safety status of arterial highways,it looks for potential safety problems of arterial highways and takes appropriate measures in time.The measures to prevent in advance will improve the level of traffic safety.
