Since the 21st century, urbanization has entered a stage of rapid development, resulting in the greenhouse effect has seriously affected human life and security. From the perspective of the development of all countries in the world,as the country with the highest carbon emission,China undertakes the unshirkable task of energy conservation and emission reduction, and also actively takes measures to respond to the call of the international community for energy conservation and emission reduction. From the perspective of industrial development,as the pillar industry of the national economy, the construction industry contributes a lot to China’s urbanization development, but the development of the construction industry has always been based on huge energy consumption. Thus it has caused a large amount of carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, selecting the construction industry with high carbon emission as the research object, this paper studies the impact of urbanization development on the carbon emission of construction industry in three economic zones in China and its path, and proposes relevant policy Suggestions on urbanization development with the goal of reducing the carbon emission of construction industry.First of all,on the basis of fully study of existing literature, this paper comparative analysis the five commonly used measure for the construction of carbon dioxide combined with the actual situation of China’s three big economic belt. Finally this paper adopt the IPCC carbon emission coefficient method to system construction carbon dioxide emissions measurement model is established. The three major economic belt is calculated the decade 2008-2017 the construction of carbon dioxide emissions to compare and analysis. This paper provides data support for the later research.Secondly, based on the EKC curve model, this paper studies the effect of the influence of urbanization on the construction of carbon emissions. The results show that in the east economic belt,it is inverted "N" relationship between the development of urbanization and carbon emission in the Construction Industry. The curve is at the stage of decline curve. In the central economic belt and western economic belt,it is inverted "U" shaped relationship between the development of urbanization and carbon emission in the Construction Industry. The curve is at the stage of rising curve. At the same time,on the basis of literature review, this paper summarize the impact on the construction of the carbon dioxide emissions of urbanization path for the population scale, the per capita GDP,energy consumption intensity of Construction Industry and energy consumption structure of Construction Industry. With the aid of EKC curve model and expand the STIRPAT model, this paper through the regression analysis to study the effect of each variable to the construction of carbon emissions. The results showed that:GDP per capita, population size, energy consumption intensity of Construction Industry and energy consumption structure of Construction Industry all have positive effects on carbon emissions of construction industry. There is an inverted "U" shaped relationship between GDP per capita and carbon emissions of construction industry. The influence degree of various variables in different economic belt is also different. Then,by constructing a multi-non-linear mediating effect model, this paper empirically analyzes four influential paths of urbanization development on carbon emission of Construction Industry, including population size, per capita GDP,energy consumption intensity of Construction Industry and energy consumption structure of Construction Industry. The results showed that except the energy consumption structure of Construction Industry in central economic belt and the per capita GDP in western economic belt in the mediation effect was not significant, the rest of the variables in the mediation effect of the three major economic belt were significantly. The population scale and the mediation effect of Construction Industry in the mediation effect are positive, indicating that the urbanization development by influencing the population scale and energy consumption structure of Construction Industry so as to improve the construction of carbon dioxide emissions.Energy consumption intensity of Construction Industry in the mediation effect of negative,it shows that urbanization will improve the development of energy consumption intensity of Construction Industry, thus reducing construction emissions of carbon dioxide. The mediation effect of per capita GDP is a straight line with negative slope, and the present stage is in,show that the current urbanization by influencing the per capita GDP can improve the construction of carbon emissions, but the development of urbanization will weaken the mediation effect of per capita GDP,until the mediation effect of per capita GDP is negative. The urbanization through the per capita GDP would ease the present situation of carbon emission in the Construction Industry. Finally,on the basis of summarizing the above research results and taking improving the carbon dioxide emission of the construction industry as the starting point, this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions on the urbanization development of the three economic zones from four aspects, including population size, per capita GDP,energy consumption intensity of the construction industry and energy consumption structure of the construction industry, and explains the deficiencies and prospects of the research in this paper. This research through the theoretical analysis and empirical research to explore the development of the urbanization on the construction of the carbon dioxide emissions impact and influence path, will help China’s three major economic belts with targeted conforms to the characteristic of urbanization development policy,to promote the transformation of construction industry development model, realize the construction of healthy and sustainable development, and to realize the rapid development of urbanization has important practical significance.
