In the beneficiation process,the flotation column is one of its important equipment,and the bubble generator is the key structure of the flotation column.For pulp charging and bubble mineralization,the performance of the bubble generator will directly influence the effect of mineral separation.Therefore,the structural design and optimization of the bubble generator is of great significance.After reading and thinking of the bubble generator,using air entrainment,with turbulent mixing is beneficial to improve the characteristics of fluid bubbles in the degree of dispersion,and combined with the new structure,design(improvement)and simulated two jet bubble generator,including the "spiral type chamber" and "Carmen vortex type" bubble generator.In order to test the new inflation performance of bubble generator,a detailed understanding of the internal fluid flow model of bubble generator,at the same time in order to collect data on the micro(such as turbulent kinetic energy,velocity and other parameters in different positions),and decided to adopt 3D modeling,using the fluid dynamics software FLUENT for the whole simulation test method,the original bubble generator and two new bubble generator for numerical simulation of the whole process of mixed air and water two-phase flow.Before the formal simulation,the simulation of the original bubble generator is carried out,and some of the key structures are optimized.In simulation,by changing the parameters of the new structure increases the bubble generator,numerical simulation of different variables were obtained under the same conditions,such as mixed phase velocity,different positions of turbulent kinetic energy,gas phase distribution and aeration performance of the key data,the experimental results for the same conditions compared to the initial bubble,research and analysis of changes the law of different parameters influence on gas dispersion degree,the optimal index obtained two new bubble generator,the "spiral line bore" bubble generator,when the number of spiral trajectory board 2,pitch 25 mm,spiral plate width is 1.5mm,the intensity of turbulence bubble generator throat section of the whole can keep high and balanced the help of bubble entrainment,crushing and dispersion.As for the "Carmen vortex type" bubble generator,when the spoiler cylinder number is 2,and the two parallel distribution position from the bubble generator left distance of 139 mm respectively and 167 mm,diameter of 4mm,most of the bubble generator throat can maintain the high strength of the turbulent kinetic energy,is conducive to the bubble volume suction,crushing and dispersion.In this paper,simulation experiments were carried out at the same time,introduces the history,status quo and development type of bubble generator,foaming mechanism with jet micro bubble generator,and discusses the application of jet suction theory in the bubble generator,then in view of the current bubble generator to the status quo,problems of defects and the future development direction of bubble generator.
