Breast cancer is a malignant tumor with the highest incidence among various types of female tumors.The clinical diagnosis and treatment are usually to remove and rebuild the tumor at the breast tissue.At present,artificial reconstruction is usually used for breast reconstruction,such as silicone rubber prosthesis.As a material implanted in the human body,safety is of paramount importance,which contains antibacterial resistance,impermeability,surface,and so on.On the other hand,the prosthesis used in China relies on foreign imports,so the preparation of high-performance breast prosthesis has practical significance.This experiment focuses on the performance research of the existing domestic prosthesis and improvement of prosthesis shell material.The specific experiment was mainly carried out through the following three aspects:1.Through composition analysis,it was confirmed that the sample filling and sample shell of the domestic breast prosthesis provided by the Beijing Third Hospital were all methyl vinyl silicone rubber(MVQ).According to the GC-MS spectrum results,due to similar compatibility,small molecules of internal filling silicone gel seeped through the outer shell,and the small molecular siloxane plasticized the outer shell material,which accelerated the aging and reduced the mechanical properties and shortened the life of the prosthesis.Based on this conclusion,it was concluded that the improvement of the strength and impermeability of the material of the prosthesis shell was the key to the research.By introducing fluorosilicate rubber(FVMQ)into the prosthesis shell,the impermeability was greatly improved as proved by using small molecule silicone D4 to simulate the small molecule gel exudation process.2.Leveraging the high strength and good biocompatibility of thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)to prepare thermoplastic polyurethane/phenyl silicone rubber(TPU/PVMQ)composite material as the prosthesis shell material provides an effective method.The silicone polyurethane(Si-PU)was introduced to solve the problem of poor compatibility between polyurethane and silicone rubber.In this experiment,the blending ratio of TPU and PVMQ was 60/40,and the amount of silicone polyurethane used as the compatibilizer was 6 parts.While keeping the silicon content of the compatibilizer Si-PU at 81%,the TPU/PVMQ composite material showcased remarkable mechanical performances,for example,the fracture strain was close to 500%,the fracture stress reached up to 15.6 MPa.At the same time,the compatibility between TPU and PVMQ was the best.Moreover,the composite material had excellent liquid resistance,and the barrier property to the small molecule siloxane D4 also met the requirements for the high impermeability material.3.By using hydroxypropyl chitosan(HPCS)for reinforcement and antibacterial resistance,the PVMQ/HPCS composite was prepared.It was found that HPCS particles have good compatibility with PVMQ and were dispersed well in the PVMQ matrix.The nanofiller HPCS was able to improve the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVMQ effectively at a lower content.For instance,when the HPCS content was 1.5 parts,the elongation at the fracture strain was also increased by 300%without addition to 800%,the fracture stress was the highest,up to 12MPa.At the same time,the addition of HPCS significantly improved the antibacterial properties of the material.When the HPCS was 1.5 parts,the antibacterial rate reaches 98.9%,which met the requirements of high strength and high antibacterial materials.
