As a propylene derivative,propylene oxide is widely used in various fields and is an important basic chemical synthetic raw material.In recent years,many domestic companies have begun to prepare for the construction of plants to produce propylene oxide.Among them,the propylene oxide(PO)and styrene(SM)co-production unit with high technical requirements for on-site and internal operators has a long and complicated process.Taking POSM device as the research object from a chemical enterprise,this article uses process simulation technology to develop a PO section simulator of the device,which is used to train workers in operating techniques,familiar with the operation status of the device,and ensure the smooth and safe production of the device.The main content of this paper is to simulate the PO section of the POSM device dynamically and develop a simulation machine.Some assistance and preparation are necessary before performing dynamic modeling.First of all,the design data is sorted to determine all the system components in the process.Through literature research and analysis of components,it was determined that the PR equation is mainly used as the thermodynamic method in the process.Unisim Design process simulation software is used to complete steady state simulation.The simulation results are compared and corrected according to the design data,which as a reference for subsequent dynamic simulation.Dynamic simulation is the focus of this article.Above all,the physical property database and thermodynamic model are established according to the system components.According to the characteristics of each unit,mathematical models of appropriate reactors,distillation towers,heat exchangers and other equipment are established.And then,establish a topology structure and supplement the control structure according to the device process.Finally,the model is calculated to get a result.After establishing the dynamic model,it is necessary to carry out repeated on-off testing and supplementation to be able to simulate the actual operating conditions of the device well.After debugging,the relative error of most parameters after the model runs smoothly is within 3%,which is consistent with the design value.It can be started and stopped according to the operation manual.The control system performs well,and various trends during the operation are consistent with the actual situation The model runs accurately and reliably.After configuration with the configuration tool,the PO station simulator is developed.In this paper,the PO section technology of a propylene oxide and styrene co-production plant in a certain company is used as the research background,and the design data and steady state simulation results are used as a reference to develop a PO section simulator.It is successfully applied to employee training and auxiliary production,showing the rationality and superiority of this mechanism model.
