The spindle component is one of the key component of the machine tool,its performance directly affects the processing quality.The integrated perormance test of the spindle and the improvement of the defects in the spindle system can improve the overall performance of the machine tool.It is also of great engineering application value to carry out research work on the integrated performance test of the spindle.This article takes the ultra-high speed grinding electric spindle as the research object,researches and develops a integrated performance test system for spindle rotation error,thermal characteristics and vibration characteristics.First develop a test technology plan,then build an experimental platform,and develop a performance test system for the spindle based on LabVIEW,and carry out experimental research on the integrated perormance of the spindle.main tasks as follows:1.Aiming at the test of the rotation error,thermal characteristics and vibration characteristics of the Ultra-high Speed Grinding Electric Spindle,Based on the analysis of the rotation error test method,separation technology and evaluation standard,the thermal deformation mechanism and test method of the main shaft,and the characteristics and test methods of main shaft vibration,a technical route for the performance test of the main shaft was formulated.2.According to the measurement index and accuracy requirements of rotation error,thermal characteristics and vibration characteristics,the technical parameters and models of the integrated test system hardware are selected,and the integrated perormance of the electric spindle composed of data acquisition cards,eddy current sensors,thermocouples,acceleration sensors,etc is constructed test system hardware platform.3.Develop the test analysis software of the electric spindle integrated test system based on the Lab VIEW platform,including:rotation error test,thermal characteristic test,vibration characteristic test and human-computer interface modules.The rotation error module can realize the real-time display and error separation of error signals;The thermal characteristics test module can realize the sub-window,total window display and data storage of temperature data,and real-time display and storage of thermal deformation data;Vibration test module can realize time domain,frequency domain and time-frequency domain analysis of vibration signals;human-computer interface has the characteristics of intuitive and convenient,can be guided by different module tests.4.Use the developed electric spindle integrated test system to conduct experimental research on the electric spindle system of the ultra-high speed grinding test platform,The shape error graph and rotation error graph of the main shaft in polar coordinates,the temperature rise curve and thermal deformation curve of the main shaft,and the time-domain,frequency-domain and time-frequency domain characteristics of the main shaft vibration signal were measured.It is proved that the system is effective,and can test the performance of the spindle.
