When the associated gas from oil well enters into the pump,the pump efficiency will be reduced,and even gas lock will occur in extreme cases.In order to improve the pump efficiency,it is necessary to install a gas-liquid separator under the pump to separate the gas from the liquid before entering the pump.Based on the difference of gas-liquid density,multi-cup equal flow separator can realize gas-liquid separation by prolonging the retention time of gas-liquid mixture in settling cup and reducing the falling speed of liquid level.It is of great practical significance to study the effect of gas-liquid separation of multi-cup equal flow separator in order to solve the problem that the associated gas produced by oil well enters into the oil well and results in the decrease of pump efficiency.This paper designs and builds a new set of experimental equipment,the principle of gas-liquid separation of multi-cup equal flow separator is studied,and the indoor experiments of gas-liquid separation are carried out for three different center holes,two different center hole numbers,five kinds of multi-cup equal flow separators with different inlet gaps and five kinds of different cup heights.It is analyzed that The center hole diameter is 0.8mm,1.0mm and 1.2mm respectively,and the number of center holes is 6 and 12 respectively,the inlet gaps are 2.5mm,1.5mm,1.0mm,0.7mm,0.5mm,and the multi-cup equal flow separators with high separation of 45mm,40mm,35mm,25mm and 15mm in gas-liquid ratio are 2:1,1:1,0.5:1 and 2 m~3/h and 1.5 m~3/h of total incoming liquid have an effect on the gas-liquid separation effect.It is determined that the gas-liquid separation effect of multi-cup equal flow separator with 2.5 mm of inlet liquid gap is the best,and that of multi-cup equal flow separator with 15 mm of cup height is the best among the five separators with different cup height.The separator is also used in the same well In the injection production process,oil-water separation is carried out.In order to study the effect of gas on oil-water separation of the separator,oil-gas-water three-phase separation experiment is carried out.Under the experimental oil-gas ratio,the effect of gas on oil-water separation is not significant.
