In 2012,the party’s "18th National Congress" included "ecological civilization construction" in the "five in one" overall layout,which gave unprecedented attention to ecological and environmental protection work,and spurred the rapid expansion of China’s environmental protection industry market.As a start-up environmental protection company,WD company,Relying on self-developed high-efficiency denitrification water treatment process technology and integrated equipment,we continue to strive to open up markets in the fields of urban sewage treatment plant upgrades,integrated township sewage treatment,and embedding of wastewater treatment technology.However,due to the lack of a clear competitive strategy,the target market,the main business,and the positioning of the customer group are vague,there is a lack of systematic awareness and analysis of the relationship between customer demand,competitor products and the company’s products,Resulting in poor overall marketing.The company faces difficulties in obtaining information and market development in the field of urban sewage treatment;it is difficult to enter the high threshold and high premium market in the township sewage field,and it is difficult to obtain the benefits of differentiated advantages in the low threshold and low premium market;and the competitive dilemma such as insufficient total contracting capacity in the farming wastewater market.This research is based on the relevant theories of enterprise strategic management and competitive strategy,and through the analysis of the internal and external environment of WD company,it has clarified the opportunities,threats,advantages and disadvantages facing the company.Find out the company’s core expertise through value chain analysis.Through the SOWT analysis,it is clear that SO is the main strategy,taking into account the strategic choices of WO and ST key influencing factors.It further proposed the strategic goal of taking efficient nitrogen removal technology as the core and integrating equipment as the product representative,and striving to gain market share in multiple application scenarios.Determined to reposition the industry chain position,focus on target customers,establish and implement a centralized and differentiated competition strategy for product and service differentiation: The first is to shift target customers from end customers to focus on complementary water treatment and environmental protection companies;The second is to provide new target customers with differentiated sewage high-efficiency denitrification treatment technology services,product solutions,and later intelligent operation and maintenance services based on special application scenarios.Through the clarification of the above new competition strategy,this article also makes a basic plan on the key factors and implementation path of WD company’s strategy implementation,and puts forward the competition strategy and improvement opinions on the WD company’s organizational structure,research and development system,marketing system,etc.,to provide guarantee for the implementation of the competition strategy,and hope to help WD company achieve " Professional service provider of efficient nitrogen removal technology and intelligent environmental protection equipment " enterprise development vision.This study also has a good reference for the development of competitive strategies for technical environmental protection companies in the initial stage.
