In the petrochemical industry,there are many valves that are responsible for connecting and controlling the movement of gas.The working environment of these valves is often accompanied by severe conditions such as corrosion,oxidation,high temperature,and freezing.With the extension of the valve’s working time,it will appear Large and small leaks can be identified visually and audibly,but for colorless,bodyless,and small leaking gas,this leak is not easy to detect,how can you quickly and accurately identify leaks and replace faulty valves in a timely manner,protecting the safety of the people and reducing energy loss has a lot of meaning.Existing gas leak detection devices are divided into handheld and interventional.The handheld detector cannot monitor valve leakage in real time and is greatly affected by human error,environmental noise,wind direction,etc.the welding process of interventional inspection is partially flammable.Gas poses a safety hazard and changes the fluid form,which leads to increased measurement parameter errors.Therefore,the above two methods of detecting gas leakage have not been widely applied.This paper designs a set of real-time non-intrusive valve gas leak detection system based on Wireless HART protocol based on the existing gas leak detection technology.Taking the pipelines that transport steam as an example,the system first uses a detection module to collect high-frequency ultrasonic and temperature signals generated by leaks in small holes,uses digital signal technology to process the signals,uses spectrum analysis technology to grade steam leaks,and uses sound pressure levels.The relationship with the Reynolds number is the amount of steam leakage,and then the detection result is sent to the control module MSP430 for processing.The control module will send the detection result to the gateway according to the request of the Wireless HART wireless communication module,andthen the gateway will send it to the host computer to achieve accuracy.The digital gas leakage monitoring system can remotely obtain the valve leakage data through the cloud server when maintaining the valve,which provides an important reference for maintenance personnel,and also saves the cost of maintenance personnel for the factory.The test results of steam pipelines in steel plants show the effectiveness and practicability of the monitoring system,which provides a new solution for the monitoring of valve gas leakage.
