Oil-resistant rubber sealing ring based on NBR is very critical part when is applied for hydraulic and pneumatic.The safety and longevity of sealing ring is closely related from raw material formulation design.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the formulation of oil-resistant rubber seals.This paper mainly carried out the research on oil resistance,low temperature resistance and temperature range of NBR oil resistant sealing material,and compared with similar products on the market surrounding formulation systems.The implementation is mainly through the adjustment of carbon black N330,N539 a N660,the different vulcanization system,and the plasticized system are studied.The influence of the protection system on the oil and temperature resistance performance is discussed in combination with the environmental conditions.The conclusion of the research is as follows:1.Study and compare the carbon black between N330,N539,N660 and vulcanization system,in order to select the type,so as to improve the performance of the current formula.The results show that the vulcanized rubber of N330 formula with small particle size has high cross-linking density.The curing time of N660 formula with carbon black was prolonged.The cross-linking degree,tensile strength and tear strength of vulcanized rubber prepared by effective sulfur vulcanization system was good.Thus it can be seen that the adoption of effective sulfur vulcanization system promoting system in the oil resistance sealing formula of nitrile butadiene rubber is conducive to the improvement of oil resistance.2.Study the influence of the dosage of the plasticizer on the vulcanization performance,mechanical performance,aging performance,oil-resistant performance and low temperature resistance.The results show that the increase of plasticizer will prolong the vulcanization time of the rubber and have a great influence on the change of tensile strength during the aging process,showing a positive correlation,and the oil resistance volume change rate tends to increase.For each increase of 3-6phr plasticizer,the oil resistance volume change rate increases by about 1%.In the nitrile butadiene rubber oil-resistant sealing formula,the amount of plasticizer at least controlled in 10phr-15 phr,in order to ensure the product in the low-temperature-30℃ environment stable use.3.Basing on the current product use environment requirements,study the influence of the types of anti-aging agents and the dosage on the vulcanization performance,mechanical performance,high temperature thermal oxygen aging performance,oil resistance and low temperature resistance performance.The results show that the effect on vulcanization properties of mixed rubber is small,and the overall aging fluctuation range is within 15%,which is in a good condition.The comprehensive physical and mechanical properties of anti-aging agent RD combined with the amount of anti-aging agent BLE and BLE and 4020 were better after aging.Increasing the dosage of BLE and RD for 1 portion will result in a 27% decrease in oil resistance volume change rate.Therefore,two solutions of anti-aging agent RD1 phr and anti-aging agent ble1.5phr and 1phr BLE and 1phr 4020 were adopted to maintain long life within the temperature range of-35℃~120℃.4.Compared with the well-known brand products on the market,the home-made products with optimized formula shows the best combination properties including ghermal and oxygen aging performance,oil resistance and low temperature performance.
