In the face of the increasing garbage output and the deterioration of the environment,domestic garbage classification has attracted more and more attention from all over the world.In recent years,with the increasing development trend of the game industry in the world,games have gradually become a major form of entertainment for people.Therefore,more and more people begin to pay attention to the possibility of spreading garbage classification knowledge through the media of games.However,there is still little experience in garbage classification game design.Many garbage classification games on the market tend to pay too much attention to the dissemination of knowledge and neglect the design of the game experience,which makes the game process too rigid and difficult for players to accept,and finally fails to achieve the purpose of knowledge dissemination.Therefore,this paper takes the activity theory as the theoretical guidance,studies and analyzes the relevant concepts of the activity theory and the game interaction design,and summarizes the enlightenment of the activity theory to the game interaction design.At the same time,from the perspective of game interaction,this paper analyzes and evaluates the existing garbage classification games and summarizes the advantages of garbage classification games under the guidance of activity theory.Then combined with the garbage classification policy of Guangzhou,the garbage classification behavior and game behavior characteristics of residents in this region were investigated,and the six elements of activity theory were analyzed.Finally,the interaction design principle of garbage classification game based on activity theory is put forward,and it is summarized into three parts according to the hierarchical structure of activity: the interaction design principle of activity layer,the interaction design principle of behavior layer and the interaction design principle of operation layer.At the same time,a framework model of game interaction design based on activity theory is proposed.Based on the previous research results,the game project of "Sky City" was set up,and the game design was carried out from the three levels of activity layer,behavior layer and operation layer by combining the principles of interaction design and design process framework of garbage classification game based on activity theory.Finally,use Unreal 4 development engine for development practice and game testing.Through the combination of theory and practice,this paper explores how to improve the experience of garbage classification game from the perspective of interaction design of garbage classification game,so as to make garbage classification game more acceptable to players,and at the same time truly learn the knowledge of garbage classification during the game.Through the study of the interaction between the activity theory and the garbage classification game,this paper obtains the interaction design principles and process framework model of the garbage classification game based on the activity theory,and finally draws the conclusion through the design and development practice and user test,which provides valuable reference for improving the interaction experience of the garbage classification game.
