In recent years,driven by various policies issued by the state,rural construction has become one of the important directions of the national development strategy.Among them,vigorously developing rural tourism is the key force to promote rural construction.Not only that,in the rapid development of social life,people’s pressure is increasing day by day.With the great improvement of material life,people also began to pursue the synchronization of spiritual life.They began to yearn for Tao Yuanming’s rural life like "picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence and seeing Nanshan leisurely".They were eager to stay away from the noise in the city,return to the original and return to the true,and had a strong feeling of returning to local culture.As a very important carrier for the development of rural tourism,rural homestays have been developed in Japan,Taiwan and other regions.The various policies and regulations in the region have been promulgated specifically,the industry system has tended to improve,and the theoretical research in the field has also been quite rich.On the contrary,the domestic B & B boom that has occurred in the context of the new rural strategy in China in recent years has caused its actual development rate to be incompatible with government control and research in the field.Deformed development is not conducive to the sustainable development of the industry,and it is easy to show shortcomings that are difficult to correct later.At present,the vigorous development of rural accommodation is not only an important sign of the development of rural tourism,but also a carrier of the ideal life pursued by urban people.The design of vernacular residential furniture should not only emphasize the differences of folk culture in different regions,but also meet the requirements of function,form,vision,material,technology and other elements.In this paper,we use the method of digging out the excellent regional folk culture in Beijing area and taking the essence of it to discard the dross.The main purpose is to design the common chair and its supporting sides in the local homestay furniture,so as to solve the problem of the homogeneity of local homestay furniture in China and the problem of damaging the indoor style of the homestay furniture by blindly copying the western residential furniture.As a new interpretation of the old concept,homestay is still in the process of free development.It has encountered many frustrations,showing many problems,and the domestic research in the field of homestay furniture is rare now.It is hoped that the research and exploration of this paper can fill in the gaps in this field and provide strategies and methods for reference.As a new interpretation of the old concept,homestay is still in the process of free development.It has encountered many frustrations,showing many problems,and the domestic research in the field of homestay furniture is rare now.It is hoped that the research and exploration of this paper can fill in the gaps in this field and provide strategies and methods for reference.
