PVC-U pipe is a kind of plastic pipe with PVC resin as the main raw material and without plasticizer.It has the advantages of light weight,high strength,corrosion resistance,small flow resistance,simple installation,low project cost,and has been widely used in urban and building water supply,drainage and other aspects.Taking the pipe extruder head as the research object,the flow field was calculated by ANSYS FLUENT software,and the pressure distribution and velocity distribution of melt in the pipe extruder head channel were simulated and analyzed.Through the simulation of the flow passage with different structure parameters,the influence of different structural parameters on the flow field performance of the head channel was analyzed and discussed.In addition,the orthogonal experimental design was carried out for the flow passage of the pipe extruder head,and the influence of the length of forming section,length of compression section,compression angle,expansion angle of different structural parameters and different inlet pressure on the relative standard deviation of the outlet velocity and maximum speed value of the head channel was analyzed.The simulation results showed that the expansion angle has the greatest influence on the relative standard deviation of the outlet velocity of the die channel,and the length of the forming section has the greatest influence on the maximum velocity of the melt.After optimization,the head flow passage increases the pressure drop of the compression section,enhances the melt plasticizing performance,reduces the melt velocity change,and makes the melt flow more gentle;the relative standard deviation of the head flow passage outlet velocity decreases from 0.101% before optimization to0.021%,improves the flow uniformity,and provides a theoretical basis for the head flow passage optimization.Figure 56;Table 9;Reference 56.
