Study On Investment Opportunity Decision Of A Gas Pipeline Project For M Country

Internationalization is becoming a key development goal for more and more engineering enterprises under the influence of "One Belt and One Road" and "Going Global".In order to expand the current international market share,Chinese oil and gas engineering enterprises shall change the business model from the traditional EPC contractors to PPP partners that extend to the high-end of value chain and develop the new business model by a small amount of investment and financing.Furthermore,how to effectively identify "whether to invest" with the shortest time and the least financial resources became the most important issue when an inexperienced pipeline engineering enterprises facing an opportunities to invest and construct a natural gas pipeline in country M.This thesis focuses on the investment opportunity study of "project country M ".First of all,it summarizes the current overseas development status and business model of Chinese engineering construction enterprises,then it is ultimately determined through comprehensive evaluating that contains the project financial profitability,solvency,uncertainty analysis,social impact analysis through field investigation,collecting and analyzing data by a third party,the detailed analysis of natural gas demand,SWOT analysis on the joint venture company.It provides a theoretical basis for enterprises to invest or not,also improves the efficiency for further development and research of projects.
