Research On Mineral Resources Cooperation Between China And Mongolia

Mongolia is rich in mineral resources.The exploitation of mineral resources is an important economic pillar of Mongolia.Under normal circumstances,the total value of domestic mineral resources production in the year accounts for 60% of the gross national product.In terms of trade exports,Mongolia's mineral resources exports accounted for more than 90% of its total exports,and accounted for 90% of its exports to China.China and Mongolia have established diplomatic relations for more than 60 years.The cooperation between the two sides is good.The largest trade partner of Mongolia is China.After the establishment of the strategic cooperative relationship between China and Mongolia,the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides are closer,more frequent and deeper.In recent years,the two countries have conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the trade of mineral resources,and relevant economic and trade cooperation has also achieved good development achievements.The "One Belt and One Road" and "Prairie Road" strategies of China and Mongolia have been recognized and endorsed by each other.The strategies of the two sides have been well docked,and their cooperation in various fields is gradually advancing,expanding and deepening.Near the Chinese border is Mongolia's main mineral resource distribution area,and its domestic mineral resources mainly come to the Chinese market.The trade between China and Mongolia is very complementary: Firstly,China's resource consumption is very large.Although it also has its own resources and production,but the growing consumer demand is difficult to fully meet.On the other hand,Mongolia has a relatively low level of production technology,and its production efficiency is mainly dependent on the introduction of advanced technology from other countries.China's mining production technology is quite high,which can help Mongolia to implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through technological innovation.The two sides can carry out in-depth technical cooperation on mineral resources development.Under the guidance of the “One Belt,One Road” strategy,the expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two countries can be based on the connectivity of mineral and energy projects.The formulation and implementation of the “One Belt and One Road” has enabled the development and expansion of the mineral resources trade space.Based on the study of mineral resources trade and trade cooperation between Mongolia and China,the thesis probes into the obstacles to the development of mineral resources trade between China and Mongolia.Through the theory of resource scarcity and comparative advantage,the paper analyzes China-Mongolian minerals.The mutual competition and complementarity of bilateral trade in resources,clarified the challenges of the development of mineral resources trade in China-Mongolia,and the good opportunities that can be grasped,and proposed the improvement of the development level of mineral resources trade in Mongolia and China,effective response measures and programs.
