Shanxi is in a period of high development.With the economic level rising and the proportion of the third industry increasing,people’s demand for spiritual values grows with each passing day.However,at the present stage,the fact is that the standard of design inside Shanxi province is relatively backward,mainly embodied in low liveness of consideration,vague direction of signification,inadequate techniques of presentation and confused connection of symbolization.These problems reflected in the packaging and designing make it hard for Shanxi traditional culture to be fully demonstrated on its carrier such as traditional snacks.This kind of point to point demand dislocation,to some extent,causes the waste,or even loss of cultural resources.Think about it,if there are possibilities to change the present states,then Shanxi,with various cultural and historical resources,can benefit a great deal and make it an efficient way for culture output,attracting more people to explore her.In this way not only can image of Shanxi be promoted,but also makes people accept her refreshing attitude by breaking regional restrictions.This article tried to start with emotional characteristics of packaging,by combining external image packaging with Shanxi local culture,tradition and history,together with breaking down the process of packaging and analyzing the presented state after breaking down,to provide advantageous designing mentality for current soul-missing Shanxi local packaging situation,hoping to make everyone understand that the truly valuable packaging is filled with culture,significance and taste,that among packaging,those which are really needed are given souls.The concrete demonstration of this article includes following models: Background analysis and significance of elaboration,Basic concepts and key points of packaging design,Regional analysis of packaging design,The relationship between packaging design and traditional culture,Fit condition analysis of packaging design and traditional culture.Gain properties analysis of packaging design,Packaging breaking down process analysis and Packaging breaking down design exploration.Giving analysis on theories involved,together with concrete focusing analysis are the basic methods of my design research.
