Progressive forming is a new type of sheet metal forming and forming process with high processing flexibility,large forming limit and high degree of automation.This paper takes the typical rotating piece convex bending table as the research object,and systematically discusses the progressive forming law of the convex bending piece convex die support.It have important guiding significance for guiding the progressive forming of complex curved parts.The ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element analysis platform is used to establish the finite element numerical model based on the characteristics of the progressive forming of the convex curved piece.The numerical simulation and physical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the credibility and feasibility of the finite element numerical simulation method.When the convex meandering piece supports the single-pass progressive forming,the forming angle of the convex curved piece becomes gradually larger as the forming depth of the convex curved piece increases,and the single-pass progressive forming wall thickness of the convex curved piece is defined.The critical forming angle?critical and the ultimate forming angle?limit are obtained.The critical forming angle?critical and the limit forming angle?limit of the convex curved table are obtained by finite element numerical simulation and physical experiments.The effects of progressive forming tool head diameter,Z-axis feed,and sheet thickness on the critical forming angle and ultimate forming angle of the convex curved piece are investigated by finite element numerical simulation.The limit forming angle of the convex curved piece of the metal titanium plate and the metal 08F steel plate was obtained by the progressive forming solid experiment.The orthogonal experimental parameters were used to optimize the progressive forming process parameters of the convex meandering punch support,and the optimal combination of the punching process and the variance analysis was obtained by visual analysis.The degree of influence of the forming process parameters on the forming of the convex curved piece was obtained.Four kinds of multi-pass punch support forming paths were designed with the convex curved piece with the forming angle of 76°as the target part.Through the finite element numerical simulation and the physical experiment,the wall thickness distribution analysis of the four multi-pass forming paths is carried out,and the equal-increment angle tangent approximation forming path is determined as the optimal forming path and the forming path parameters are determined.Optimize the experiment.The study of the optimized path of the equal-increasing chamfer tangent approximation process is proved to be informative and generalized by using a convex curved piece with a forming angle of 80°.
