The thin coal seam has special conditions,and it has the characteristics of thin coal seam thickness and high coal hardness.Due to the limited space of the thin coal seam working face,the existing mining equipment generally has a small installed power and cannot meet the safe and efficient production of thin coal seams.Aiming at the mining problem of thin coal seam mentioned above,this paper proposes a method for unloading the thin coal seam open bottom tank from the perspective of unloading of thin coal seam,and designs a cutting drum with a spiral drill bit.The cutting load,the dynamics of the cutting section and the coal loading effect were analyzed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The characteristics of the thin coal seam and the unloading mechanism of the bottom channel were analyzed.A thin coal seam open bottom cutting drum structure scheme was proposed and its parameters were designed.(2)The coal breaking mechanism of the picks is analyzed,and the average load model of the picks is established by using the compact kernel theory.Based on the experimental research of scholars in the former Soviet Union,a stochastic model of picking load was established.According to the load of the pick,the drum cutting load of the shearer in the straight cutting and the bevel cutting is established by the synthesizing principle.(3)Reasonable simplification of the cut section of the open bottom groove,and establish a dynamic model of the cutting section in the vertical direction and the lateral direction.The Matlab/Simulink software is used to simulate the dynamic model under different parameters,and the vibration characteristics of the cutting system under different parameters are obtained.(4)Based on the theory of bulk mechanics,the coal loading mechanism of the cutting drum of the bottom groove was analyzed.The calculation formula of the theoretical coal loading rate of the drum and the influence of the drum parameters on the coal loading rate were obtained.The simulation model of the coal filling process of the cutting drum with the bottom groove was established by using the discrete element simulation software EDEM.The influence of the screw drum speed and the feed speed on the coal loading performance was analyzed,and the optimal scheme of the speed and feed rate was obtained.The paper has 49 pictures,9 tables,and 79 reference materials.
