Due to the special factors of the geographical environment,China's reserves of coal has reached 1.598 trillion tons,which is a resource that China has an absolute advantage.Effective exploitation and utilization of coal is one of the ways to promote China's economic development.China's thin coal seam accounts for a relatively high proportion,but the mined amount is very low.Therefore,efficient mining of thin coal seam and searching for efficient and convenient mining methods can not only make full use of non-renewable resources,but also play a role in saving time cost and improving work efficiency.Coal plough,as the main equipment of coal mining in thin coal seam,has the characteristics of shallow planing depth,fast planing speed,large planing lumpiness,and the ability to complete coal mining and coal loading at the same time.The process of coal and rock ploughing is a series of processes in which the planer chain pulls the plough head along the middle trough of the scraper conveyor.The coal wall is planed by the blade on the plough head.The fallen coal rock is planed and transported to the scraper conveyor through the plough shaped inclined plane on the head.The working performance of the plough head will be directly affected by the speed,depth,feeding mode and the deviation of the middle groove of the coal plough.Based on the theory of discrete element,this paper uses the discrete element software EDEM to establish a simulation model of planing coal level for coal plough.By means of variable control,the effects of depth,speed,feeding mode and deviation of the middle groove on the working performance of the plough head are studied.The working performance of plough head is evaluated by three direction load,load fluctuation and specific energy consumption of the plough head.Through the coupling of EDEM and ANSYS,the statics analysis and parameter optimization of the planer are carried out,which effectively improves the reliability of the planer.The reliability of the simulation results was verified by the experiment test on the plough planing experiment platform.The main findings are as follows:1?The increase of planing depth can improve the working efficiency of the coal plough and reduce the specific energy consumption,but at the same time it will lead to the increase of the load of the planer and affect the working stability of the plough head.Increasing the planing speed can speed up the planing efficiency,but it has a great influence on the planer load fluctuation and reduces the stability of the plough head movement.In the process of oblique cutting,with the increasing of the depth of planing,the three-dimensional force of the planer increases while the specific energy consumption of the planer decreases.In the case of straightplaning,the coal plough is the most stable in operation and the load fluctuation is small.Due to the randomness of coal and rock caving,the three-dimensional force of the planer fluctuates randomly within a certain range.The displacement deviation of the middle groove led to the change of the movement trajectory and the planing depth of the plough head,which further changed the load condition of the planing cutter and increased the load fluctuation.2?Through the coupling of EDEM and ANSYS,the static characteristics of the planer tool were analyzed,and it was found that the stress concentration area of the planer tool was mainly the tip area.By optimizing the parameters of the rake angle,the back angle and the thickness of the planer,the optimal solution is obtained.The maximum stress at the tip of the planer shall be reduced by 6.97%,which improved the reliability of the planer.3?Through the planing experiment platform of the coal plough,the synthesis of coal wall was simulated manually,and the experimental research was carried out under the two conditions of specified planing speed,different planing depth,and specified planing depth and different planing speed,so the reliability of simulation results was verified.This paper has 40 diagrams,18 tables and 70 references.
