| With the continuous development of China’s social economy, the breadth and depth of the development and utilization of cultivated land resources are expanding, and the productivity and scale of cultivated land are gradually improving. At the same time, the carbon emissions caused by the input of agricultural products, irrigation, agricultural machinery and other energy sources in the process of farmland utilization are also growing rapidly, which brings about hazards such as the North movement of agricultural center and the loss of farmland productivity.Northeast China is one of the eight major economic regions in China, and its carbon emission caused by the use of cultivated land should be paid more attention.Based on this, this study takes Northeast China as the research area, takes the theory of low-carbon economy and sustainable development as the theoretical basis, uses the life cycle method to determine the accounting boundary of carbon emissions from cultivated land use,and combines the results of relevant scholars to determine the accounting method of carbon emissions from cultivated land use,so as to carry out the accounting of carbon emissions from cultivated land use in Northeast China. At the same time, based on the analysis of the accounting results, this study finds out the relationship between the scale of cultivated land use and carbon emissions through the correlation analysis, and uses LMDI model to explore the driving factors of carbon emissions of cultivated land use.The results show that the total carbon emission of cultivated land use in Northeast China is on the rise from 1979 to 2015.The total carbon emission of Heilongjiang is the highest, followed by Jilin, and Liaoning is the lowest. On the basis of the accounting results, the correlation analysis shows that there is a significant negative correlation between the scale of cultivated land use and the intensity of carbon emission in Northeast China. In terms of driving factors, land Productivity, agricultural population, allocation rate of science and technology funds and input-output ratio play an important role in promoting the increase of total carbon emission of cultivated land in Northeast China. The input intensity of science andtechnology, multiple cropping index, per capita cultivated land area and carbon emission intensity all restrain the increase of total carbon emission of cultivated land in Northeast China to varying degrees.Based on the above results, this study proposes to increase agricultural science and technology in order to improve the efficiency of farmland utilization and slow down the increasing carbon emission of farmland utilization,we should take measures such as increasing the number of personnel, increasing the planting area of crops, promoting the moderate scale operation of farmland and improving the efficiency of agricultural products. To some extent, the accounting system and methods of this study enrich the existing theoretical system of carbon emission accounting of cultivated land use.The research content of the relationship between the scale of cultivated land use and carbon emission can make up for the gaps in the existing related research. At the same time, the proposed research countermeasures can reduce the carbon emission of cultivated land use, develop low-carbon and efficient agriculture, and promote the development of low-carbon and efficient agriculture in Northeast China. The construction of agricultural ecological civilization provides a solid theoretical guidance. |
