The Direct Methanol Fuel Cell(DMFC)has the advantages of high energy density,easy storage,no environmental pollution,simple structure,safety and reliability.DMFC is a technology with broad development prospects as a power source for portable and uninterruptible power supplies.However,DMFC has serious performance degradation problems during long-term operation.The research on attenuation compensation by changing operation parameters has been carried out to improve DMFC performance of long-time operation.However,the performance control strategy has not been systematically developed.In this thesis,the degradation performance and real-time control strategy of DMFC are comprehensively studied.(1)Design and build an experimental testing system for performance degradation analysis and real-time regulation of DMFC,and determine the experimental testing methods for performance degradation of DMFC under different energy conversion efficiency.The results show that a higher degration rate can be observed in the operations at higher energy conversion efficiency,which leads to a worse performance of membrane electrolyte assembly(MEA).(2)Based on the influence of system operating parameters on the performance of DMFC,20 groups of sensitivity experiments considering methanol concentration,methanol flow rate,air flow rate and operating temperature were designed.Based on the sensitivity of DMFC performance to determine the order and degree of parameter adjustment,the DMFC real-time control strategy is proposed,and the control method of membrane electrode assembly performance attenuation compensation under different energy utilization rates is proposed according to the real-time control strategy.(3)Based on the performance compensation control method,the DMFC degradation performance compensation verification experiment and the subsequent DMFC performance degradation verification experiment were carried out.The results show that the proposed DMFC real-time control strategy is reasonable,and different performance compensation control schemes can be proposed for different degrees of performance degradation of DMFC.
