| Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly. However, the rapid economic growth has caused serious problems of energy exhaustion and environmental pollution.Among them, the greenhouse gas effect caused by carbon dioxide emissions is particularly prominent. As the world’s largest carbon dioxide emitter,China attaches great importance to the issue of climate and environmental change, analyzes the regional carbon emission influencing factors, and aims to enrich the differences in carbon emission influencing factors in different regions and research on environmental protection.Based on a review of the literature and theoretical analysis, the carbon emissions of China’s 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions were measured from 2002 to 2016.First,the decoupling model was used to analyze the degree of dependence of China’s economic growth on carbon emissions, and then the Theil index was used to China. The evolution trend of regional differences in carbon emissions is analyzed. Finally, the influencing factors of regional carbon emissions in China are studied based on spatial econometric models. The main conclusions are as follows:First,of the three major economic zones, the eastern and central regions account for the proportion of national carbon dioxide emissions.Large, but the rate of decrease in decoupling elasticity is: Central Region> Eastern Region> Western Region, indicating that the development of low-carbon economy in the western region is slower than that in the eastern and central regions. The central region is the best region for the development of low-carbon economy in the three major regions.Secondly, the carbon dioxide emissions of the eastern region are most affected by demographic factors. The carbon dioxide emissions of the central region before 2013 are more affected by economic factors, and after 2013,they are more affected by demographic factors, while the carbon dioxide emissions of the western region are most affected by economic factors. Finally,Hebei,Liaoning,Jiangsu, and Shandong provinces in the eastern region have the same carbon emission development trend, resulting in higher overall carbon dioxide emissions in the eastern region;Jilin,Heilongjiang,Anhui,Jiangxi,Hubei andHunan provinces are in low carbon emission areas, and the level of carbon dioxide emissions in the entire central region is generally low;Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the west,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Gansu, and Qinghai have the same carbon The development trend of emissions has led to lower carbon dioxide emissions in the western region as a whole.Regional GDP,fixed asset investment, total population, energy structure, industrial structure, number of patent applications, and resource tax intensity have a significant impact on China’s overall carbon emissions, while the effects of the carbon emission influencing factors of the three major economic zones are inconsistent, indicating that There are differences in influencing factors in different regions. |
