As an important freshwater carrier in the natural world,river ecosystem health has an important impact on the sustainable development of society.With the progress and development of society,human beings have transformed and controlled rivers,leading to the gradual deterioration of the health of river ecosystems in terms of hydrological conditions,river forms,riparian structures,water quality,and biological species,which seriously threatens the sustainable development of society.Therefore,scientific evaluation methods should be adopted to diagnose the health status of river ecosystems and effective measures should be taken to repair river ecosystems,so that the structure and function of damaged river ecosystems can be restored to a healthier state.For this reason,based on the results of research on river ecosystem health evaluation and ecological restoration measures at home and abroad,this article conducts in-depth research and discussion on river ecosystem health,and carries out research on river ecosystem health evaluation methods and ecological restoration measures.The main contents are as follows:(1)Establish a river ecosystem health evaluation index system.The river ecosystem health evaluation index system including the target layer,the criterion layer and the indicator layer is initially drafted.The frequency analysis method and Delphi method are used for the preliminary selection and optimization of the indicators,and the determination method of each evaluation index standard is given.(2)Establish a river ecosystem health evaluation model.The commonly used weighting methods and evaluation models are compared,and the analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weight of each evaluation index,and the cloud model is selected as the evaluation method.Finally,a weighted cloud model is established to conduct research on river ecosystem health evaluation.(3)Study the methods of determining river ecological restoration measures.Design the universal and systematic decision steps of river ecological restoration measures,that is,river ecosystem health status evaluation and stress factor identification-river ecological restoration level determination-river ecological restoration plan formulation and method selection-river ecological restoration effect evaluation and measures adjustment.(4)Taking the Grand Canal in Yangzhou City as the research object,the current status of the river ecosystem health is explored,an evaluation index system is determined,a river ecosystem health evaluation model is established,and ecological restoration measures for the Grand Canal in Yangzhou are formulated based on the evaluation results.Firstly,determine the ecosystem health evaluation index system of the Grand Canal in Yangzhou,and explain the classification standards for the corresponding levels of quantitative and qualitative indicators.Secondly,determine the weight of each indicator and use the cloud model to evaluate the ecosystem health of the Grand Canal in Yangzhou.The current situation is evaluated and the evaluation result shows that the ecological system health of the Grand Canal in Yangzhou is sub-healthy,which is in line with the actual situation.Based on the assessment of the current status of the ecosystem health n),the main stress factors are identified,and the river restoration level is determined accordingly.Finally,the river ecological restoration plan is formulated according to the socio-economic situation of the river and the ecological environment needs and the appropriate river ecology is selected.
