The application of plastic products is becoming more and more widespread.It has the advantages of easy forming,low price,light weight,corrosion resistance,good insulation and so on.As the main production and processing method of plastic products,injection molds have the advantages of high material utilization rate,stable product quality,and easy mass production.As the basic skeleton of the injection mold,the mold frame plays an important role in the entire injection molding production.After the completion of the production of specific plastic parts,the traditional injection mold mold frame cannot be used for the injection production of other plastic parts.The mold cost accounts for a relatively large proportion,accounting for about 35%.If the injection mold mold frame can be recycled,the manufacturing cost of the injection mold will be greatly reduced,but there is very little research on this aspect today.Under this background,based on the fractal theory,this paper proposes a reconfigurable injection mold design method,and has made a lot of research in the mold frame design and mold frame structure optimization.The specific research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the fractal theory,it is introduced into the design of the injection mold mold base,and the concept of the primitive module is proposed.The primitive module is used as the smallest structural unit to reconstruct the injection mold mold base.To a certain extent,the recycling of injection mold bases is realized.(2)Based on the traditional injection mold design,the design of the reconfigurable injection mold base is carried out.Through the analysis of the mold frame of small and medium-sized injection molds,the design of the element module size and connection structure is completed.And analyze and solve the interference problems in the process,and then determine the number of types of primitive modules.Secondly,for the case of larger apertures in the template,special modules are designed to ensure the stability of the connection structure.(3)Use simulation technology to analyze the stress of the moving mold part of the injection mold.Select the standard tensile test piece as a plastic part,and assemble an injection mold base that meets the requirements according to its structural requirements.Analyze and calculate the relevant values ??of the injection mold during the injection process.Finally,based on the above-mentioned numerical analysis,the relevant stress analysis is carried out on the moving mold part.The analysis results show that the deformation of the assembled reconfigurable injection mold during injection production is within the range of elastic deformation,which meets the reconfigurable requirements of the reconfigurable injection mold.(4)Optimize the structure of the primitive module and reduce the deformation of the mold base.Take the connection structure parameters of the element module(cross-section short side X,cross-section width Y,cross-section angle).As the test factor,the maximum deformation variable of the movable mold part of the mold frame is the test index.Orthogonal experiments and statistical analysis were carried out.The most significant test factor was the short side X of the cross section,and the optimal size parameter combination was the short side 8 mm and the cross section.Width 5mm,section angle 30°.And the tensile experiment was carried out to verify the rationality of the simulation results.
