| The traditional CNC systems are independent and close. The software and hardware that are develpoed by different CNC factories can't be replaced by each other. They lack compatibility and block upgrading of CNC systems, even lead to great manpower and substance waste. At the same time, they hamper the CNC machine producers?rapid responsive ability toward markets and customers. The method to solve the problem is to establish reconfigurable CNC system. The research aim of reconfigurable CNC system is to solve the contradiction between the rapidly changeable demand and the close architecture and to establish a universal system platform that will enforce the flexibility and adaptability of numerical control system. A reconfigurable CNC system is developed using Windows98 as software platform and industrial PC as hardware platform in this thesis. The reconfigurable software and hardware modules of GNC systems are primarily achieved by use of specification of module and the COM (Component Object Model). Also Based on the architecture of definite criterion the thesis provides a new type CNC System NIISK CNC with excellent reconfigurable features. |
