Aluminum foam materials and aluminum foam sandwich structures are widely used in all walks of life due to their light gravity,sound insulation,noise reduction,filtering and excellent energy absorption characteristics.In recent years,the research on various properties and applications of aluminum foam and aluminum foam sandwich structure is flourishing.To explore the foam aluminum and energy absorption properties of aluminum foam sandwich structure,this article obtains from the dimensions,respectively set up foam aluminum drop hammer impact system and aluminum foam sandwich board drop hammer impact dimensional equation of the system,and with the aid of finite element simulation software ABAQUS simulation experiment was carried out,and rely on the Origin of software simulation test data,finally get the expression of the dimensional equation.The results are as follows:1.The drop hammer impact test was carried out on the foamed aluminum plate to obtain the mechanical impact performance and energy absorption value of the foamed aluminum plate.In the impact system of foamed aluminum plate,the absorption energy Q,thickness D,porosity P,compressive platform stress?and punch section area A of foamed aluminum plate were selected as the main parameters of dimensional analysis,and three dimensionless quantities were deduced according to the principle of dimensional analysis.Thus,the dimensional relations of physical parameters are obtained.In order to get the specific expression of dimensional relation,the simulation experiment is designed,the finite element simulation software ABAQUS was used to carry out the simulation test,and the Origin software was used to fit the simulation data,and the energy absorption equation of the foamed aluminum plate was obtained.The results show that the equation can predict the energy absorption of foamed aluminum plate.2.Based on the temperature of aluminum foam sandwich plate under the action of impact drop weight impact test system,the selection of aluminum foam sandwich panel by shock absorption to Q,aluminum foam sandwich board overall flexural rigidity B,thickness ratio of aluminum alloy panel to aluminum foam core N1,ultimate tensile stress of aluminum alloy panel?1,stress of compressed aluminum foam core platform?2,punch section area A and temperature K as the main parameters of dimensional analysis,according to the principle of dimensional analysis five dimensionless quantity is deduced.Thus,the dimensional relations of physical parameters are obtained.In order to get the specific expression of dimensional relation,the simulation experiment is designed.The energy absorption equation of the aluminum foam sandwich plate was obtained by the ABAQUS finite element simulation software and the Origin software to fit the simulation data.The results show that the equation can predict the energy absorption of aluminum foam sandwich plate.
