As the hub of the power grid,the 500 k V substation is of vital importance in the power system.With the development of technology,most of the newly constructed 500 k V substations in China are GIS substations.This type of substation has the advantages of less land occupation,simple maintenance,good reliability and good development prospects.However,the GIS equipment is enclosed by a metal shell,and its operation and maintenance are different from traditional substations.In order to avoid unnecessary accidents,It is necessary for the training of GIS Substation staff and learners.After investigating and analyzing the current power simulation training field,this paper designs a set of substation simulation system based on virtual reality technology for GIS substation training.This system takes a 500 k V hub substation in Henan Province as the prototype,analyzes the requirements of the system development,determines the overall structure of the system,and divides the design of system into five levels: hardware layer,data layer,support layer,simulation layer and user layer.The substation scene development is based on the physical substation structure,combined with simple modeling and Polygon method through the 3ds Max software 1: 1 restore substation scene,and optimize the effect and memory of the model.The preliminary drawn substation model is imported into the Unity3 D development platform,which supplements the details of the three-dimensional scene.Through the establishment of terrain environment,weather effects,physical properties of additives and so on,the three-dimensional scene simulation of the substation is completed.After the scene is set up,use script development combined with UGUI in Unity3 D to create the user interaction interface of the simulation system and realize the registration and login function;The cognitive learning function of the main electrical equipment in GIS substation is made by using the plug-in such as animation technology and voice playing in the system development platform;realize the patrol function of the substation through the program control and character controller;use the particle system combined with the script control to simulate the common faults in the substation.The system integrates the advantages of virtual reality such as 3D visualization and human-computer interaction.It has the advantages of high reduction,strong scalability,good economy,and simple operation.It makes up for some of the deficiencies of traditional substation simulation systems.It not only has a good application prospect,but also provides a new learning way for the substation staff and the students.
