The Research Of The Virtual Substation Simulation Training System Based On Virtual Reality

The virtual reality technique has become a new trend in the application of the professional training in power industry.Based on the application of substation training, three training requirements are put forward:the study of equipment in substation,the patrol and dismantling of the key substation equipment.The author developed the virtual reality system of the substation training in 3Ds Max and DynaVR-Net environment, which realized the study of equipment in substation,the patrol and dismantling of the key substation equipment based on amalgamation of scene,interaction and Animation technology of DynaVR-Net.The geometric modeling of substation equipment can be constructed using the field monomer building and integrated scene photos,not only the shape and appearance of the equipment can be showed but also the internal structure and construction can be displayed.And three-dimensional geometric models can be updated and changed flexibly by using 3-D model Base.This system can be applied in the training work of the actual substation.What's more,the prototype and references can be provided for further development of true training application.
