| As an indispensable part of human life, blood plays an indispensable role in the clinical transfusion therapy. As typical perishable product, due to supply and demand uncertainty, high levels of customer service requirements, supply capacity constraint and high cost of waste and shortage, supply chain management of blood faces huge challenges. In the context of random supply and demand, this paper takes a two-stage integrated supply chain composed of a blood bank and downstream hospitals of blood products as the research object to conceive of the production of blood products.First,to research the decision-making on a single blood bank’s blood production strategy under the constraints of satisfying demand ratio and acquisition capability.Taken the blood random supply and demand as the background, based on the newsboy model, taken the acquisition capability and the satisfying demand ratio as constraints, considering the two-stage integrated supply chain system composed of a blood bank and downstream hospitals,to build a model to obtain the optimal yield of the blood bank.Through the theoretical proof and numerical analysis,it is found that the planned production quantity is mainly affected by the characteristics of demand and the cost parameters. The planned collection quantity of blood is affected by thecharacteristics of the demand, output and the cost parameters. The planned output ratio of the blood is affected by the characteristic of output, production and collection costs.Besides, acquisition capability and satisfying demand ratio is a pair of contradictory constraints, and the largest collection constraint may not be able to meet the collection requirements corresponding to the minimum satisfying demand ratio. Then,to research the decision-making on two blood banks’ blood production strategy under the constraints of satisfying demand ratio and acquisition capability.Taken the blood random supply and demand as the background, based on the newsboy model, taken the acquisition capability and the satisfying demand ratio asconstraints, considering the two-stage integrated supply chain system composed of two blood banks and downstream hospitals,to build a model to obtain the optimal yield of blood banks.Through the theoretical proof and numerical analysis,it is found that the two bloods’ bank co-production strategies, which contain transshipment, can reduce the blood production quantity and the total expected cost, regardless of whether there are satisfying demand ratio and acquisition capability constraints.Besides, compared to the situation of not considering satisfying demand ratio and acquisition capability constraints, the blood bank production quantity and the total expected cost will be greater than the quantity in the situation when the satisfying demand ratio and collection capacity constraints exist, regardless of whether there is transshipment. |
