Objective To explore physical and mental development characteristics of idiopathic central precocious puberty and peripheral precocious puberty girls, and using state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)method to compare the brain function changes between two groups, provides a further basis on evaluation、diagnosis and treatment of precocious puberty. Methods We admit 60 precocious puberty girls in pediatric endocrine specialist in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University From January 2016-December 2017.And complete the clinical pathway related examination provided by the Ministry of health, according to the inspection results to the appropriate diagnostic criteria were divided into ICPP and PPP two group of 30 cases, collecting the physiological development index, mental development index, resting state fMRI brain functional magnetic resonance imaging, comparing the results and discussion of the differences between the two groups. Results 1 、 In physiological index: idiopathic central precocious puberty girls bone age significantly ahead of peripheral precocious girls, gonadal volume increased significantly(P < 0.01),GnRHa stimulation test results in hormone levels suggest that LH and LH peak /FSH peak was significantly increased(P < 0.01),the difference was statistically significant, but there was no significant difference in FSH peak, height, weight and BMI between the two groups(P > 0.05).2、In mental development index: idiopathic central precocious puberty in girls’ strengths and difficulties questionnaire score in hyperactivity / inattention factor was significantly higher than that of peripheral precocious puberty, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and in emotional symptoms, conduct problems, peer problems, social behavior, the total score of difficulty there was no significant difference in the 5 factor scores(P > 0.05).There was no statistical difference between the simplified emotion questionnaire and the rate of abnormal emotional detection(P > 0.05).3、In Resting state brain function test:Idiopathic central precocious puberty group ReHo values were obviously lower than peripheral precocious puberty group in left superior parietal gyrus, left precuneus, left orbital middle frontal gyrus, right hippocampus, right parahippocampal and so on(all P<0.005),and were higher in left precentral gyrus, left caudate nucleus, right fusiform gyrus, right olfactory cortex and so on(all P<0.005)in these brain area differences are statistically significant. Conclusions 1、Idiopathic central precocious puberty girls physical development were earlier than peripheral precocious girls,GnRHa stimulation test and bone age, gonadal ultrasonography has important significance for the identification of precocious type,It is necessary to make a series of examinations for the etiological identification of adolescent girls.cause only by age, height, weight, secondary sexual characteristics cannot distinguish the type.2、Although idiopathic central precocious puberty girls physiological development are significantly earlier than the peripheral precocious puberty girls, but not more mature in the mental development index, instead, these are some lags,It indicates that more advanced physical development does not bring more mature psychological development.,we should pay more attention to children with idiopathic central precocious pregnancy, and give more active physiological and psychological intervention.3、The resting state brain function between idiopathic central precocious puberty girls and peripheral precocious puberty girls increases and decreases in different brain regions,It suggests that there may be changes in brain regions closely related to physical and mental development of girls with precocious puberty.Resting state brain function tests may provide new clues and basis for further diagnosis and treatment of girls with precocious puberty.
