Subject Idiopathic central precocious puberty(ICPP)dominates the majority of central precocious puberty(CPP)in girls,who have higher risk in precocious puberty.Although ICPP becomes more and more common in China and other countries worldwide,little is known about the mechanism of ICPP.Method Here we exam different developmental changes in brains of ICPP girls and normal girls by resting state functional MRI,combing regional homogeneity(Re Ho)and seed-based correlation analysis(SCA).We use Analysis Kit to measure the features of pituitary,to find the correlation with ICPP,Result We found that functional connectivity of girls with ICPP undergoes significant developmental changes,more like adolescent than pre-puberty.Negative results of Re Ho suggested decreased local synchronization within medial prefrontal cortex(m PFC).Positive results of hypothalamus’ s SCA suggested strong connection with bilateral dorsal/medial frontal cortex,precuneus and post cingulate cortex.The GLCM entropy and cluster shade have correlation with pubertal development in child.Conclusion These results imply developmental changes of decreased short-range link and increased long-range connection in girls with ICPP,approach to the mature trajectory in human brain.We demonstrated that medial hypothalamus play important role in definition of hypothalamus FC network.More generally,we propose that activated hypothalamus FC networks are an important feature to identify CPP.According to research,we could use texture analysis to make prediction model in diagnosis of CPP.
