Objective To observe clinical effect on reattachment and pulpotomy of young crown fractured and pulp exposed permanent incisors. Methods 30 traumatic intact segments of permanent incisors with crown fracture and pulpal exposure were treated by pulpotomy and reattachment technique with enamel-dentin luting agent and composite resin.it is a one-year retrospective clinical observation. Results one-month success rate was 100%,3-month success rate was 93.1%,6-month success rate was 93.1%,one-year success rate was 93.1% of pulpotomy.One-month retention rate was 100%,3-month retention rate 100%,6-month retention rate 100% and one-year retention rate was 78.6% of reattachment technique. Conclusion Pulpotomy is the preferred way to preserve live pulp after pulpal exposure of young permanent incisors, and the clinical effect is prominent. The fragment reattachment technique is an effective middle and short-term way on temporary restoration to young crown fractured permanent incisors.
