Clinical Observation Of White Spot Ointment On Vulva Lichen Sclerosus

Objective:This research mainly by observing the changes of clinical symptoms,signs and quality of life that white spot cream treats the patients with vulva lichen sclerosus,to assess the white spot cream in the treatment of VLS clinical curative effect,and help us to explore the mechanism of efficacy,thus providing a better method to treat VLS for Chinese medicine.Methods:The patients with VLS were randomly divided into therapy group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)by random number table method and comparison method.The treatment group are given white spot cream,and the control group are given progesterone ointment.Using the ointment in morning and evening,taking proper amount of medicine to rub the skin of vulva lesions and then to take a massage gently.one month for a course of treatment,three courses are finished.After the treatment,changes of the clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups are evaluated before and after the therapy,we should to observe the pruritus,the pain,the size and degree of the area,the color of skin,the elasticity and the quality of life.All data are analyzed with SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results:1.After 3 months,the total effective rate of treatment group is 96.7%,and the control group is70%.After statistical analysis(P<0.05),the difference is significant.It shows that the curative effect of white spot cream is better than that of the progesterone ointment.2.In the aspect of symptoms and signs,two groups are improved.such as the pruritus,the pain,the size and degree of the area,the color of skin,the elasticity.The improvement rate of symptoms and signs in the control group was significantly lower(P<0.05).3.In terms of quality of life,two groups are improved,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).4.No significant adverse reactions occurred during the observation period and after treatment in both groups.Conclusion:1.The white spot cream can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and signs,safe and reliable also to patients with VLS.2.The white spot cream can obviously improve the quality of life,which is worth promoting and applying.
