PART ? Analysis of the clinical features of convulsive status epilepticus Objective:To explore the clinical features of patients with convulsive status epilepticus.Method:(1)The database of 144 patients with CSE diagnosed in the second affiliated hospital of Soochou University from June 2009 to June 2017 was collected and reviewed, including:gender, age, manifestation, past history, etiologic classification, treatment, sodium, chlorine, calcium, potassium,AST,ALT,urea, creatinine, uric acid, blood glucose, lactic dehydrogenase(LDH),creatine kinase(CK),hemoglobin,c-reactive protein(CRP)and pneumonia.(2)Severity and prognosis evaluation:The CSE patient's disease severity was evaluated with STESS.The patient's quality of life and functional recovery prediction was evaluated with END-IT score. The data was analyzed through comparison.Result:(1)According to classification of etiology: the proportion of stroke sequela and remote symptom were the most;(2)According to the STESS,the patients with CSE were divided into two groups: serious and non severe group. The age, creatinine and hemoglobin were significantly different among the two groups(P<0.05).The age of the severe group was larger, the creatinine was higher and the hemoglobin was lower, while the sex, sodium, chlorine, calcium, potassium, magnesium,AST,ALT,urea, uric acid, blood sugar,LDH,CK and CRP were not different between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)Acording to the END-IT score, the patients with CSE were divided into good prognosis group and poor group:The level of uric acid in a good group was significantly higher than that in the bad group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in sex, age, sodium, chlorine, calcium, potassium, magnesium,AST,ALT,urea, creatinine, blood glucose,LDH,CK,hemoglobin and CRP between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)According to classification of etiology: the proportion of stroke sequela is the most in adult;(2)According to the STESS grouping:the serious group usually has the characteristics of the older, high creatinine levels and lower hemoglobin;(3)According to the STESS grouping: the blood uric acid level of the good group was significantly higher.PART ? The multivariate analysis of related prognosisfactors of convulsive status epilepticus Objective:The related factors of CSE patients are analyzed by logistic regression analysis to find protective factors and risk factors of disease severity, the quality of life and functional recovery.Method:(1)The database of 144 patients with CSE diagnosed in the second affiliated hospital of Soochou University from June 2009 to June 2017 was reviewed, including: gender, age, manifestation, past, history, etiologic classification, treatment, sodium, chlorine, calcium, potassium,AST,ALT,urea, creatinine, uric acid, blood glucose, lactic dehydrogenase(LDH),creatine kinase(CK),hemoglobin,c-reactive protein(CRP)and pneumonia. The data was analyzed through multiple regression analysis.Result:(1)According to the STESS grouping:age(OR=1.164,P<0.05),past history(OR=26.190,P < 0.05)and pneumonia(OR=25.110,P < 0.05)are therisk factors of CSE patients severity;(2)According to the END-IT grouping:age(OR=1.157,P<0.05),trachea intubation(OR=214.637,P< 0.05),brain lesions(OR=23.843,P<0.05),diazepam withstand(OR=131.073,P<0.05)pneumonia(OR=25.110,P < 0.05)are therisk factors of CSE patients severity.uric acid(OR=0.992,P < 0.05)is the protection factors of the functional recovery and life quality of the CSE patients.Conclusion:(1)Age,merging past history or pneumoniais the risk factors of the CSE patients severity;(2)Higher uric acid is the protection factor of the functional recovery and quality of life in the patients with CSE;(3)Age,brain lesions, trachea intubation and diazepam withstand are the risk factors of the functional recovery and quality of life in the patients with CSE.
