| Objective:To collect the four diagnostic information of colon cancer patients, and to summarize the TCM syndromes of colon cancer by analyzing and referring to the diagnostic criteria of TCM.Comparison of TCM syndromes of left and right colon cancer and its related factors. In order to provide reference and exploration direction for the follow-up Chinese medicine treatment. Methods:To screening Hospitalized patients of colon cancer in our hospital registered form march 1,2016 to December 31,2017.All the patients can be diagnosed and have been treated by surgical. The pati ent’s age, gender, clinical symptoms, pathological features, treatment me thods, and four clinical data of TCM were collected. The TCM syndro me type was obtained through four diagnostic information. To study th e relationship between TCM syndrome and age, gender, pathological ty pe,stage, distant metastasis, etc. The distribution of TCM syndromes o f left and right colon cancer patients was analyzed. The conclusion is drawn by using chi-square test and other statistical methods. Results:Within this sample of 295 sufferers, there were 175 cases males disease, accounting for 59.3%,and 120 females, accounting for 40.7%.The onset age was over 60 years old, with 167 cases accountin g for 56.6%,followed by 45-59 years old, with 97 cases accounting fo r 32.9%.The most common types of TCM syndromes are qi and blo-o d deficiency, liver and kidney Yin deficiency, spleen and kidney Yang deficiency, among which qi and blood deficiency account for 30.2%,spleen and kidney Yang deficiency account for 27.5%,and liver and kidney Yin deficiency account for 24.7%.To comparative study of TCM syndromes in colon cancer, the left-side colon cancer syndrome t ype distribution that spleen and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome(18.0%),liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome(11.2%),deficiency of qi and blood(10.8%),dampness and heat stasis syndrome(5.1%),heat poisoning stasis syndrome(4.4%);The syndrome type distribution of right-side colon cancer was 19.3% for deficiency of qi and blood,13.6% for liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome,9.5% for spleen and kidney Yang deficiency,5.4% for dampness and heat stasis syndrom e,and 2.7%.for heat poisoning stasis syndrome. There was no significa nt correlation between TCM syndromes of colon cancer and gender,a ge and pathological type(P>0.05),which was related to clinical pathological stage and distant metastasis(P < 0.05).According to independe nt factor analysis, the clinical stage and distant metastasis of left-side c olon cancer are the common factors influencing the occurrence of qi a nd blood deficiency syndrome and liver and kidney Yin deficiency syn drome, but they are not independent factors. The clinical stage is an in dependent factor influencing the occurrence of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency.Although clinical stage, tissue differentiation and distant m etastasis are common factors affecting the occurrence of Yang deficienc y syndrome of spleen and kidney in right colon cancer, they are not i ndependent factors. The clinical stage is an independent factor infl-uenc ing the syndromes of qi and blood deficiency and the syndrome of liv er and kidney Yin deficiency.Conclusion:1.Deficiency of qi and blood is the most common type of TCM syndrome after colon cancer surgery, followed by Yin deficiency of liver and kidney and Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney. The postoperative symptoms of right-side colon cancer were mostly seen in deficiency of qi and blood or Yin deficiency of liver and kidney. The left-side colon cancer were mostly seen in deficiency of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency syndrome.2.The TCM syndromes of colon cancer are related to clinical stages and disease sites, which can be used as an objective reference basis for disease differentiation. The later the postoperative clinical stage of right-side colon cancer, the more likely to show deficiency of qi and blood or Yin deficiency of liver and kidney. The later the postoperative clinical stage of left-side colon cancer, the more likely to show deficiency of spleen kidney Yang deficiency syndrome. |
